Q: I have a tivo bolt now can i just switch the cable card to the edge? can this be transferred to my current tivo account for billing

Dear TiVo Valued Customer, You can move the CableCARD from the old DVR to the new one, but you have to call the cable company in order to pair the old card with the new DVR. Q: I just spoke with spectrum and tech support told me they no longer support cablecards. how will tivo address this?

I think they are required to support your cablecard under FCC regulations. I'd search and make sure this is still true for 2020. When you call back, maybe mention that FCC ruling. If they are still unwilling to help, ask for a supervisor. He or she should be more familiar with the regulations and able to get you a tech with more training on cablecards. I've always had to push a little to get them to deal with the TIVO, but ultimately they do.
