It works perfectly!!!
I'm so grateful to have found that this ceiling fan 3 speed switch was available via Amazon. I am an over 70 yr old lady who took the housing off the ceiling fan to replace the on/off and speed adjusting chain. The serial number was visible so this was an exact replacement. IT WORKS PERFECTLY.Regarding the length of the chain that was attached this switch...it's short but fine. I attached a pull chain extension that I purchased from Home Depot. It has a cute decorative thingamabob at the end of it

This switch was good. The only thing that could be better was a longer pull cord. My original one was a little longer. So it would have been better to have a little more length. Because it can always be cut down should you want less.
