The ribbon is exactly what I needed BUT the install video was complicated...I think if you are going to sell the ribbon for the 2013 and up models you should make another install video. The whole ceiling console has to come down in the 2013 T8C... about 5’ of console...That aside, I got it down but when it came to replacing the ribbon cable there is also a black ribbon (cable? Idk) that I could not disconnect so where you guys show it as easy peasy disconnect and set the monitor off to the side, that was not the case here. Put everything back together and now the monitor shows as black... so I have to take everything back down again and hope nothing was messed up and maybe the ribbon cable is just out of the clip or something.

I have a 2014 T&C. My 2nd row screen would show the Chrysler logo upon start up but would go blank when playing the dvd. You could still hear sound but no picture. Upon hours or researching I took a gamble and bought this to replace the ribbon cable. Worked like a charm! Also it was packaged in a nice sturdy envelope so it came in pristine condition. My old cable was bent bad. But I’ve read these things go every 5 years due to flipping the screen up and down on a regular basis. My kids are happy to have their tv back!

This is exactly what was needed to fix the dvd screen in my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country! We purchased my van out of state, and forgot to make sure the dvd worked (big mistake). When we tried it out a few days later, we found out it didn’t work (black screen), and we didn’t purchase a warranty so we were stuck. Dealership wanted $1200+ and wanted to keep my van for 2+ weeks to fix it. After doing a little googling, I read that the ribbon cable is often the issue so I decided to order this product, and asked my husband to give it a try. I’m so happy to say this is exactly what we needed and was significantly cheaper than the amount the dealership wanted to charge! Husband had it working within about 1hr 45min.

This cable is exactly what we needed to fix the problem for our 2014 Town and Country. We flipped open the screen one day to let the kids watch a movie in the car, and the screen was completely black. The movie’s sound still worked, and when we were parked we were able to watch it on the screen up front, but the rear screen was completely dark. We did some research and discovered this is a very common problem when the cable wears out, so we decided we could order it and see what happened. It’s a little daunting since you have to remove the entire ceiling console, but we followed a YouTube video and it is now working perfectly again. I would highly recommend this cable.

My 2013 dodge caravan monitor works again! YAY! ive been driving around for the last year with no video for my two young kids. its been horrible......yesterday i took them for a ride, and they were quiet the whole time, instead of screaming at each other and throwing toys!initially, i didnt have the cable seated all the way, and some really strange stuff happened in my van (windshield wipers wouldn't turn off, all lights on dash lit up and beeping) but after a message to a gentleman on ebay who sells these, i was informed a cable was likely not seated properly and that was causing the problem. My message to the amazon seller was useless "SILVER SIDE DOWN" was the only response I got to a detailed message.My only complaint is this seller is WAY over charging for this cable. Its a ripoff, however, i had a bunch of amazon gift cards so it was still my best option. Id advise buying the cable elsewhere.

Fixed my 2014 Town & Country with this ribbon cable. VES screen was showing up for a brief time and would then go black. Followed instructions from YouTube and it worked perfect. A bit of work to actually get to it but it did the job. Make sure you fully seat the ribbon cable in its holder before putting it all back together. The cable should lay in the clip straight and flat with no bends or angles.

My 2015 dodge grand caravan DVD system monitor stopped working. The sound would play but the TV wasn't getting the visual. Apparently every 5 yrs the ribbon cable may need replacing. This did the job. Perfect length and all. I watched a few diff YouTube videos to take down the roof consol and open and replace the ribbon. The shipping was fast too. Ordered Saturday night and arrived Monday.

First off this is an easy fix to change the video cable in the rear video screen ONCE YOU GET TO IT! In order to change the cable you will need to remove the entire center roof consol to remove the video screen from the consul then open it up to get to the cable. Total time to replace with expierence 3 hrs. With minimal experince all day, but for a quiet ride on road trips its worth the time!
