DNA MOTORING GRILL-G-033-BK Front Bumper Brush Grille Guard,Black

Product looks good and was easy to assemble, but it will not fit properly on my bumper without a different mounting bracket. 2007 Ford F150. I do have a custom Vijay bumper on my truck, so may work on factory bumper.

I just installed this on my ‘05 Eddie Bauer Explorer today. It took all day and it is NOT a simple bolt on procedure. You HAVE to take the bumper cover and bumper rail off of the front of your vehicle to install the mounting brackets. Also, the mounting bracket bolts are too long. There’s no way you can install them and hope to get a wrench into the end of the frame tubes to tighten the nuts down. You can see in the pics that the clearance is very tight. I used an air ratchet that fit into the frame tube to tighten the nuts down. I included one pic that shows that there’s NO way you can get access into the frame rails to install/tighten the mount bracket nuts with the bumper structure installed. Also, disconnect the fog light wiring (if your vehicle has them) before you remove the bumper cover. I forgot to, and when I dropped the bumper cover off, I broke one of the fog light bulbs as it dropped. Oops. Also, after I installed the mount brackets on the frame, before I final tightened the nuts, I “dry fit” the main center section of the guard in place to make sure the mount brackets were located (spaced) correctly since the mount holes are slotted and allow for some adjustment. But this guard looks AWESOME on my Explorer. I would have given 5 stars, but the limited installation instructions held me back. It’s pretty much just a parts diagram and you have to figure out on your own how to install it. I included a pic of the “installation instructions” too.

Had this brush guard professionally installed yesterday and it looks great.Detailed Installation instructions are included.I stopped my self installation when they stated "Remove the Front Bumper.Glad I did. This is definitely a two person installation a lift certainly helps.The Stainless seems to be high grade as a strong magnet wasn't even the least bit interested in sticking to it.Brackets and bolts are no SS. That small upgrade would have been appreciatedAll in all this brush guard look identical to the one the local truck accessory store was trying to sell me for $1000.00.Only downside is no protection for lower driving lights

Looks good. Wobbles a bit while driving. Would not hold up to a 10mph collision. Will do good for brush and twigs. If I had it to do over i would have spent more and got somthing sturdier. Happy with it for now despite its flaws.

Did not fit my truck. Company does not answer phone. Have not received a refund. If I am screwed out of $458.00 I will never buy from Amazon again.

Very nice and perfect fit. Came well packaged and damage free. Great value product... Better built / heavier construction than expected.

Have to remove bumper to install top supports. Factory tow loops did reinstall under the lower supports so you aren't throwing away that factory option with this grill guard. Instructions recommend a helper, get TWO, much easier with two to hold bumper while another fastens it. Biggest bother was disconnecting and reconnecting the fog lights in the tight space. Open looking middle section complements grill size and design. Very satisfied with this choice for my fifth ever truck grill guard.

Well built packaging was good delivered asap took about a hour and and a half to install with a extra set of hands my only complaint is the hardware is pretty cheap over all for the money a good deal and the price went up about $90.00 after I bought mine for once I bought just in the nick of time lol
