A friend of mine bought these pretty plates and liked them so much I bought a set. These are of high quality and sturdy. My friend put hers in the dishwasher and did not crack/chip.

These are simply breathtaking. I bought the canister set, dinner and dessert plates as well as the mugs. My kitchen and formal dining room is old world Tuscany themed and these were purchased for display purposes.Talk about a wow statement. I love how the pattern is dimensional. I’ve noticed other reviews stating that these look mass produced. Nothing could be farther from the truth.Yes they are made in China, but I can assure you that people won’t be looking at the back side of the dishes because they will be too captivated with the front side.I’ve purchase Certified International patterns in the past and this pattern is another home run. WORTH EVERY PENNY.With that being said, you want to be conscientious and thoughtful in caring for these. Just like any other prize dish you can’t just toss them mindlessly in the dishwasher and slam the door shot lol.I choose to hand wash and hand dry these types of dishes. I don’t treat them any differently than I do my Johnson Brothers or Franciscan Desert Rose dishes. If you take care of these beautiful dishes they will last forever.

The only negative is that they are a bit heavy, but they seem to be perfect for entertaining and casual dining.

These plates chip easily and are on the heavy side. If these plates were lighter and sturdier I would give 100 starts!

In the 11th hour it was decided that I would post Christmas dinner at my house this year. Being a single man, I had exactly three dinner plates, four salad plates, and three bowls.Problem was, there was going to be seven family members.I spent approximately 3 hours looking at dinnerware online. Having picked out two sets, I only then figured out that the first set was partially out of stock and not available again till after the first of the year.So, I went with my second choice, these wine themed dinnerware.In the end, they created a very dramatic table. Both of my sisters took photos of the table before the food was present and one of my sisters ordered a set for herself shortly after dinner was finished.

I already had the smaller plates for several years and finally decided to buy the larger ones to complete the set. These are very large. In fact we have yet to actually be able to fill the plates. So be careful if you stack and/or use often as the little grapes will break off.Other than that we love them.

Love the dishes. I have them in two different sizes and plan to buy more from this collection. They really are very charming and rustic. I do not use them every single day, but I always bring them out when I am serving Italian dishes, special occasions or when we have company.
