UV LED Black Light, 10W LED Tube for BlackLights Bulbs Replacement, Poster, UV Art, Bedroom, BlackLights for Halloween and Parties

This UV lamp was purchased to illuminate our glow-in-the-dark jigsaw puzzles. Ordinary LED lighting does not have enough UV to activate the phosphorescence in the puzzle, so it's glow is quite dim. This UV LED Blacklight worked very well and the results were spectacular. The UV energy delivered was sufficient to caused the puzzle to glow for hours after the lamp was removed. It is nicely designed and packaged. It comes with a USB power supply and cable. However, we powered ours from a USB cell-phone backup battery (not included), which allowed it to be completely portable.

Just what I needed, and at a great price.

I have used these black lights to make bug traps by suspending them over containers of water dosed with a little dish soap. They ran 24/7 from the time house plants were brought in from outside until they were taken back out which is about 8 months and lasted two seasons. Two of the lights have had power supply failures in their third season and one has developed a bad connection in the wiring. I replaced the power supply with generic high output supplies which worked fine but will probably have to replace the entire light package on the one with the cord defect. All in all, not bad performance considering the long duty cycles that I have exposed them to.

I'm very happy with this light. It is very light-weighted and portable, and is also very sturdy and solid, considering its size and shape. I used it for my bedroom decorations, it makes my blacklight posters glow in the dark, it is definitely a very good light for my UV posters and blacklight arts. Here are a few nice things about this blacklight tube: The fact that this light is kind of a wide-angle emitting UV light bulb is advantageous for illuminating ceilings and walls. I like the dual column LED chip design, it produces twice amount the UV power compared to those which are typically of this size. As mentioned, it is well made, solid-looking, especially considering its size. Admittedly 10W is small, it is still a good size for personal use in a bedroom or a room of similar sizes. The built-in switch makes it convenient to adjust the brightness of the light, I prefer the low-brightness mode as it is enough for the small area I wanted to illuminate on the wall. It can also be used without the adaptor, I quickly tried to plug the USB to my laptop and it did work. Overall I highly recommend this light for blacklight posters or UV arts.

I originally bought this for my niece for her birthday along with some black light paint, but when it arrived I realized I had not bought the one I meant to buy. This one was much smaller, but I didn’t have time to order the other one before her party, so I decided to do a test run in my room. I was so surprised at how well it works. It has two settings (brighter and slightly more bright). My room is small (somewhere around 12x14 feet), but this light could easily handle a bigger room without a problem.

They come with adapters so you can daisy chain them but the one end doesn't even have the metal pins built into the plugin to do so.

This will light up your items as you remember your old neon black light did. The ONLY problem that I have with this product is that it is very glaring to look at. The old neon black lights had a much softer glow. This one is tough to deal with if you make eye contact with it. I had it hanging over an outside bar and the glare was too much to accept. If you are backlighting something, or have it out of direct eye sight lines, then it's a pretty good product.

The last blacklight I bought was in the 90s. It had a bulb that you have to twist back into place, the casing was bulky, and more recently the plastic casing started to warp, so I felt I had to replace it for safety. We use this as our kid's nightlight to bring his room decor to life. We love that it has a bright feature for charging glow-in-the-dark stuff quickly, but also a dim setting so we don't worry about it getting too warm and causing trouble if we leave it on all night. The other thing I like about this light is that it is very compact. I am most likely to get one for myself to have on my stand with my synthesizer when I perform.

It's a great quality product especially for this price range. Was sent right in time along with screws, good quality wires and adapters. You can also adjust the brightness in low and high.

2 levels of brightness. Amazing!!! Really love it. If it ever goes back to its original price which is $20, I might get 3 or 4 more. It does get hot sometimes but it quickly cools down once you turn it off for a few minutes. Great quality for what I paid. Light is pretty powerful. I rather have 2 levels like this one has than a dimmer… Great purchase, definitely recommend!!
