All 100 roll, excellent value.
First off, for skateboarding you are going to want to degrease and then add a drop of your choice oil. I tested all 100 for roll. All 100 were good. Once degreased, they all freely spin. Theyâre low cost, so just ride them shield-less without concern. Replace as you destroy them⌠you got 100 for sub $20!Update: Get yourself a clear, plastic fast-food cup (McDonaldâs, Starbucks), remove these bearing shields, throw them in the cup, spray/fill the cup with a cheap penetrating-oil, let these bearings soak in that for 30 mins. to an hour, remove the bearings from the cup, lay the bearings out, and lube all the bearings with seven drops of a high quality light oil (Liberty Oil or Pro Shot Zero-Friction). From there just ride âem shield-less and destroy them. Theyâre fast at this point and theyâre inexpensive.

And around and around they go
I bought these for some more complex 3d printed designs. You have to put some machine oil in them to get the packing grease out, but once you do that, no worries. They work great.

Stay away - horrible quality
One of the worst 608 bearings I have ever seen, hands down. Bought the 100 pack on a whim as a cheaper option than my normal source, and couldnt regret it more. When I opened up the packages, the bearings themselves are coated in a thin and extremely sticky substance. Its certainly not grease of any normal kind that would be used in this application, it seemed more like glue than anything. The bearing could actually stick to your hand if laid flat with the tackiness of the substance on it. First warning sign there.Next up, it could no actually spin freely when I started testing them. The sticky substance prevented any free spinning possibility of these things, and only manually forcing it to spin by holding the inner and outer walls could I get it to rotate. The "rubber over steel" seals on the item, which are just plastic by the way, when taken off revealed no grease in the bearings inside. Grabbed some degreaser and cleaning agents and cleaned out a few sets of the substance, then put on some silicone lubricant after drying them out. They could now spin, however there are issues here as well with the bearings as you can feel them grinding and catching inside the track constantly Very noticeable wobble in the bearing, VERY loud when spun due to the poor tolerances and manufacturing.Stay far away from these, guessing they are rejects from production lines of other brands being resold.

Excellent for spinners and printers
I got these to put at the ends of the spinning rods for the 3d printer I am making. I also used them for the bearing in some, many, more than I probably should have, figit spinners. For the spinners, it was easy to remove the red guard, and use regular hand soap and a cleaning toothbrush and scrub them out 3 times, to make them spin effortlessly. Perfectly. These were a great deal and I fully plan to purchase them again and again.

Mine were solid and I'd buy again.
I read the reviews on this product and saw several complaining about the quality. Maybe they got a bad batch or maybe they just don't know what they are talking about. I pulled out a dozen random bearings and all were smooth and free moving. At this price, I don't know what people expect. If you need something even more precise and smooth, why are you trying to be cheap?

Great for Fidget Spinners
Used them in a Fidget Spinner 3D printer project in my classroom. Kids made Fidget Spinners in SolidWORKs and we printed them on 3D printers. We used these bearings. Just had to pull the dust covers off and clean them.

Not worth scrap value
First, the manufacturer claims these are ABEC7 but the shields say ABEC9,They come packed in a sticky and persistent substance that is difficult to remove from the bearings and anything the bearings come into contact with. The shields fall of easily.Just spinning them in my fingers I could feel a difference from one to another which should not be possible given that the difference between a truly ABEC rated 1 vs a true 9 would not be detectable in such a manor.I thoroughly cleaned and lubricated 10 and they are by far the crunchiest, noisiest pieces of junk to have ever crossed my work bench.I will be registering a complaint to ABEC.Do not buy these, there are plenty of others to choose from.
