Fits two sticks or most of a roll
This is heavy and well made. It’s so cute on my countertop. It holds a good amount so we always have softened butter ready to go.

My top doesn't fit correctly
The top doesn't fit. The bowl is large enough to hold 2 sticks of butter or one whole pound block. I have to hold on with both hands to keep top from sliding off.Maybe I got one that slipped through inspection.

Beautiful
Love this I use Kerry gold butter this fits the larger size that they do. I don’t buy the individual butter sticks. I buy the stick. That’s a big rectangle. This has been great. I don’t refrigerate my butter. I like to set it out on my counter. The only negative thing I can say about it is that I wish they would’ve given you a bigger knob on the top to lift that lid up because the lid is is very heavy.
