How many ounces are in the bottle?

32 ounces. Enough for two cleanings as you use 16 ounces or half the contents per soak in 4 gallons of water. I use it once a month on alternate filters to keep them working at optimum level.

Does this contain Phosphates?

No Phosphates. It uses Sulfuric & Hydochloric acids. I use a five gallon plastic bucket with one half of the filter cleaner solution. Soak the filters overnight and rinse them with a hose sprayer. One bucket of solution cleans my three filters very well.

Will this remove algae from the filter?

What do you need to do with the solution after you use it? Will it damage cement?

The products not that strong it's very ineffective so I just threw it down the toilet
