Bought this to coat a new set of wheels before fitting tyres and going on the car. Application was super easy as the wheels had never been outside since refurbishing, so no worries about thorough cleaning beforehand. Couple of months on and cleaning is an absolute breeze. Brake dust comes straight off with normal cleaning products and a pressure washer, no need for anything aggressive. Can’t compare to other products but I’m more than happy with this at the moment. The unknown is how long the coating will last.

I was a bit skeptical to start off with but this product really works. The bottle is a bit small - if you are 'experienced' then I expect you can cover a whole medium-sized vehicle with 30ml of Exo, but if you are using it for the first time and intend to cover the whole car then I'd be tempted to go for the 50ml. In my case, I was just sick of the vertical back of my hatchback getting quickly covered in grime, and wanted something on the back of the car only that would a) reduce adherence of dirt and b) make the back of the car doubly easy to rinse off. In my experience Exo reduces grime sticking by about 10% in 'greasy' conditions, up to 50% in heavy rain (although you will get little lines of droplet marks still left), and makes rinsing so fast and simple that it's no trouble to do. For myself, I probably wouldn't use Exo (or Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light) on a whole car - if only because the preparation requires a deep clean and full rectification of any scratches. But on a single panel it's really no trouble. Worth the money if you're in the same position I was.

The title say's it all. I love this stuff. I applied this to my car after using Gtechniq Panel Wipe to clear any remaining previous waxes. Using Panel Wipe also helps the EXO v2 bond to the car paintwork better. The entire application took me approximately 1 hour but I did take my time. It's straight forward to apply - pop the supplied nitrile gloves on then just use the supplied applicator pad with a few drops of EXO on it to cover a panel at a time, then use one microfiber cloth to spread the EXO evenly and to remove the excess, then a second microfiber cloth to buff to a shiny smooth finish. The hydrophobic effect is stunning on my white car. Gtechniq claim EXO v2 will last for at least a year which will save me waxing every few months. Very highly recommended if you're serious about looking after your car. People have already asked what I've used after seeing the car in the rain.

Over rated, overpriced garbage, 100% does not work on alloys, it washes off

Used it twice previously - great stuff with fantastic water beading but do just one panel at a time as its a nightmare to remove if you leave it to dry.

Very easy to apply. Apply to a good sized area, went round to the opposite side of the car, applied to a second area, then returned to the first area to buff it off, continued until complete. Rain water really beads up & you can see the water rolling off the bonnet while you drive. I’ll be ordering some more to protect our Macan when it arrives in a couple of weeks time.

Really the instructions are way too paranoid. Did this in the shade, outside, on a sunny day. On top of just washed car. Put it on, buff it off with a dry microfiber. The end result is fantastic. MUCH easier to clean the car now, most of it just jet washes off. Even some rain cleans most of the dirt off now. Plenty in the bottle to do 1 and a half cars. Takes about 30 min per car.

This is the best Ceramic topper I have used. Goes on smooth and is easy to remove and leaves a pristine glossy shine on your car or truck. I have detailed several cars with it and the customers love the gloss. With a good cleaning, claying and polishing. This topper is outstanding.

Product was easy to work with. So far, I'm very pleased. Time will tell how well it provides the protection / sustains overtime.

Paired exo with crystal serum, enough for exterior, door/hood/tailgate jams, and lights. Was definitely some work prepping vehicle for ceramic coating. First time using random orbital with cutting and polishing disc's to remove swirling and some deep scratches in clear coat on a 2018 truck. Photo is from two weeks after coating. Vehicle gets cleaner after it rains, tight beads of water, coating is slicker than the glass. Awesome stuff. Neighbor asked if it was the same vehicle. Would need second bottle for anything more.

I had a car coated with V4 and Crystal Serum Light before I became comfortable with applying these products myself. Now I apply these products by myself and would never considered hiring someone to follow the process. I consider myself a DIY intermediate. I have no problem cleaning, compounding, polishing, and applying products . These products work. Initially I did not like these products as they seemed to leave a greasy film even after washing. Over time I have grown to really appreciate getechniq. Exo V5 is an even better product than V4 and is especially more hydrophobic. While it wont keep your vehicle clean. It certainly helps make cleaning easier. Sometimes a simple foam cleaner followed by a wash off leaves the vehicle looking amazing. I love the hydrophobic properties of EXO V5 and the product has been show to be durable and long lasting. If applied correctly you will not be disappointed.
