The Psychology of Laziness

When I saw the title of this book it was eye catching for me so I immediately started reading this one of the gem. This book was a quick read and worked as a reminder to me for instance and at times as a guide. The author didn't give one a checklist of what to do or what not to, instead helped with proper facts and explanation. And every point in this book is agreeable with how to do time management. Especially it tells us how to be happy by doing work because at the end what matters is happiness as we are not robots.

The Psychology of Laziness is a short book filled with great lessons which is written by a modern motivational speaker. •••• This book offers you great knowledge of things . As the author says in the book that most people spend most of the year just thinking some of it is wasted in laziness and lack of energy and hardly active and productive for nearly 2-3 months with all their might. It doesn't matter how talented you are , what matters is how persistent you have been , if you have learned anything abd you don't make it a habit , you will surely forget it , but if you make it a habit , the pressure on you to keep it memorized vanishes. The author has mentioned in the book that trust , the brain system of yours , when life starts bringing those things for you that you had always wanted , you will start doing things that you had never imagined for yourself. •• The vocabulary is used an easy one which was really easy to understand it and as it a short book of great motivation which you should or can just complete in a full day sitting.

This book is a breath of fresh air.Its not written as if the author is showing off his vocab skills. Its written as if you are talking to a mentor on whatsapp.Which he said in the beginning is intentional.Brilliant. The book will push you to take action using strategic psychological triggers and not mere motivation or hocus pocus.I read it in 2 sittings of 2-3 hrs each.I highly highly recommend this book. I accidentally ordered the hindi version. And I am glad I did.If you understand hindi, do yourself a favour and order a hindi version. His funny wits in hindi are so raw and heart touching, it will make you get up and go get your goals. Thanks Man for writing this book

The psychology of Laziness by Mohammad Shakeel is a non fiction and and very interesting book. This book taught us a lot of things. This book tells us about the importance of time and to set our goals. The author has penned everything beautiful and the language is very simple and lucid. I would recommend this beautiful book to everyone. I really loved reading this book.

Hi, Reading the introduction was fun as I was expecting some valuable info on why we behave lazy and what can be done to get over it but get what was expected. Though the book has some valuable tips on how our brain functions and some reasons for procrastination but I personally found writing style very vague. When I started reading book I was excited to finish it in one go as author had mentioned in Introduction but having read few chapters I lost my excitement completely and finished it just bcoz I have decided for myself that I will finish what I’ve started. (I finished reading this book within 2 hrs itself and was 🥱🙈)

Have you ever wondered that in a year we have 3190 spare hours? But do we utilize this time? Some of us just scroll through some feeds, and we procrastinate our work. By the end of the year, we are left with our unaccomplished goals and achievements. So, this book here will help us to regain our lost motivation. The writing style is simple and informative, so you will be hooked to it. It will also teach you time management, making the best out of your lives. From a procrastinator to securing an award as the youngest motivational speaker, the author has his fair share of experience to share with us. This self-help book will create an ever-lasting on every reader.

Nothing in the book to read, not worth money spent, absolute disappointment

Es un libro muy sencillo de leer. No trata de vender humo. Explica de manera directa como tomar control de tu vida y dejar de procrastinar para empezar a construir un futuro mejor para ti mismo y los que te rodean.

This book puts so much into perspective. I read it in 2 days and passed it on to one of my younger brothers that I'm mentoring. I highly recommend this book. It will indeed change your life and view on life entirely.

Enfocado a jóvenes para obtener algunos consejos básicos de disciplina para evitar caer en distracciones. Recomendado para jóvenes que empiezan a interesarse por mejorar

I liked that the author provided different perspectives and tips on how to manage time. It's really all about getting my your mind disciplined.

This book shouldn’t have positive reviews. There is nothing in the book about psychology at all. It reads like a poorly written grammatical nightmare a teen might write in an attempt to be wordy enough for an essay requiring mandatory word count. Which gets you thinking, “is this just a bad rip off of other writers and podcasts?” Well yes it is, the author admits to doing just that. Writing what others have already composed in an ill mannered attempt label oneself an author. Returned for being not as described.
