I take tart cherry to reduce uric acid, trying to reduce inflammation and pain as much as possible. Tart cherry is also rich in antioxidants and I've heard that it may improve sleep quality, reduce inflammation, and lower blood pressure. I also love that it is packed with red polyphenols which may be very helpful to healthy gut bacteria, which emerging science is discovering may be one of the most important things you do for your health, is have a healthy gut microbiome! This is an easy way to get red food (you know they say to eat all the colors for good nutrition.) I've ordered this product many times and I feel confident in the quality. It is non-Gmo but not organic, and I am concerned that they may be loaded with pesticides, but I keep taking it. The coloration does vary from bottle to bottle and I don't understand that, but I suppose this can happen with any natural product, and for the price it's unbeatable. The price of this brand is far less than any other brand and I'm very comfortable with the quality. I don't know about its effectiveness since I take it all the time, but I did forget them for three days once and I do think I felt more stiff. The pills are quite easy to swallow, they're considerably smaller than other supplements I take. A serving size of this is 3 capsules, but like I said, they're easy to take. Except for the possible pesticide issue, this seems like a win-win-win no lose situation.

Like others, I purchased this after self diagnosing a case of gout noticed intermittently in my big toe. In addition to taking these - 2 a day for the 2400 mg bottle - I also cut my alcohol consumption to almost nil and have been more focused on a better diet. After a short time, I started feeling the pain subside and experienced less frequent bouts. Not bad after a short period of time, and I have lost about 8 pounds so far in a month.I think the cost listed is a bit misleading. but not a really big deal. It lists it as 5 cents a count, with a total of 200 capsules, but a serving is actually 2 capsules - so it is 10 cents a serving. Still not bad, but I was thinking I got a 200 day supply when in fact it is for 100 days. My bad for not researching a bit more. I will go with another provider the next round. It will still be 10 cents a serving, but that will actually be for a 200 day supply.

I introduced my 86 year old mother to cherry extract. The skin is your largest organ so changes can manifest in your skin first. She has some skin issues that are flaking away and clearing up. It is quite obvious to her that the cherry extract is the reason as that is all she has recently added.

Very good product very good price

I have been trying myriad sleep supplements for well over 5 years now with varying degrees of effectiveness until my mom introduced me to Tart Cherry extract. Then, I found the Carlyle brand and have been amazed by the results as well as the product I get for my money. Since the first 3600mg capsule, I have enjoyed sound, deep sleep every night. One of the ways that I know that I’ve slept well is when I feel like it’s only been a few minutes between when I fall asleep and when I wake up—but I’ve actually slept for 6-8 hours. Thankfully, I have felt this way for almost every night that I’ve taken one of these capsules, and I’ve been using Carlyle Tart Cherry extract for almost 2 weeks now. Additionally, since day one, I have always awakened feeling refreshed and energized—no grogginess at all! Further, the product has greatly improved my parents’ sleep as well. Finally, you have my word that I am not being paid for this review; I’ve simply been profoundly blessed by this product and had to share it in hopes that it benefits others as much or more so than it has benefitted me! My friend recommended these tart cherry capsules for relief of gout symptoms. Unfortunately, he had a pretty severe reaction after taking them. He broke out in hives and was very itchy. We think it was because of a conflict with the meds he is taking for blood pressure and cholesterol. Once he stopped taking the capsules the itchy spots went away. I don't know if anyone else has had that reaction.
