Tomatoes Daily Scrub & Cleanser

Nice soft grapefruit smell! Great scrub not to much grit but enough to give your face a clean glow! Doesn’t cause me to break out! Not drying!

I thought the consistency would be too light and watery, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was tough enough to cleanse my face and remove my makeup (even waterproof mascara), so I didn’t have to use a separate makeup remover. The smell is light and fresh, and after cleansing my skin was nice and soft.

After my job got me a free facial, the lady told me some things I should be doing more often, and I was looking for a new skincare regimen, I wanted my skin to feel amazing every day. One thing I was looking for was a scrub to exfoliate. This, with its stellar reviews and just throwing in the fact it's 99% natural, was placed it in my cart instead of an Aveeno scrub. And ohhhh my god, I love this stuff. I have a Tree Hut body scrub, and in comparison, this is a LOT gentler, because it's for your face. I really love that after working it in for a bit, this scrub starts to foam a little. It just makes me feel a bit cleaner, and lets me see where I've gotten. The 4 oz of it made me worried, thinking it won't last me long, but I only use about 1-2 pea drop sizes and it covers my face fine! I had forgotten whether or not I liked the smell of grapefruit, but so many reviewers raved about it, so I thought "Why not?" It smells amazing. It is not overwhelming, just an amazing, sweet smell. This, along with my new Olay Pro-X Brush, Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner, and CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer, my skin has never been softer. I really don't have bad skin days anymore, I'm going out every day without makeup. I rely on this stuff to make my skin soft and happy every night

I recently went decided to shake up my skin care routine, looking for options that were a bit more frugal while still being somewhat natural. I'm a mid-30s mother, with skin that is starting to remind me that hey you're getting older, while at the same time likes to say hey, you still get acne. I have slightly uneven skin tone from age and acne scarring and kept seeing this pop up as I browsed and threw it onto my Subscribe and Save shipment and am glad I did. At the time it was under $3 for the 4 ounce container which was a steal. The exfoliation isn't too harsh, and is more of a gel cleanser with exfoliating beads opposed to a what I think of as a scrub (like Alba's various cleansers, Acnedote or the Enzyme Scrub). Wit it being gentler I think it would be fine to use daily without over exfoliating/irritating your face.I suspect to see a full effect I'll need to add another product or two from the Yes to Grapefruit Line, but as far as cleansers go, that may help even out skintone. I like the smell. It's part of why I bought it. It's very citrusy, obviously with a high grapefruit note and a bit of lemon, without smelling like a bathroom cleaner or fake smell that induces gagging. My overall thoughts are, at a reduced price point, this has been worth a try. I'm hoping Amazon gets it back in stock before my next shipment/ I run out and if the price doesn't go up much more I'll probably continue to keep it in my rotation.

I like this scrub, although it's a bit different than I thought it would be. It actually foamed up, so to me, it was more like a cleanser than a scrub. In spite of that, it didn't seem to dry my face out, which is why I usually avoid 'foaming' type cleansers. I have very dry skin, so was looking more for a gentle exfoliant than a cleanser. I have fairly sensitive skin, and this scrub didn't seem to bother it; I didn't get any redness or rashes after using it. The exfoliant in it is pretty mild, so I could feel it, but it didn't seem to scratch or irritate my skin. Although I didn't mind the scent, if others are sensitive to strong scents, I have to say the grapefruit scent was VERY strong. It had a slight chemical-ish smell to it as well, but the grapefruit itself was predominant, and not unpleasant to me. Again though, if you don't like strong scents, I wouldn't recommend this. All-in-all, it worked well for me, and the price was right, so I would definitely buy it again.

I have used a lot of "Yes To" products and generally liked them. This scrub was a bit of a disappointment for me though. I love the scent which does smell like grapefruit but the consistency is watery. It is like a lightweight clear gel with some particles in it. It doesn't feel like I am exfoliating my face really well when I use this. The scrubby things are OK but there isn't enough of them. This is a light exfoliator that definitely can be used daily as opposed to one that deeply exfoliates and should only be used once or twice a week. I have not broken out and my skin is not drier than before I used this facial scrub, I just don't feel it is the right consistency for me. I like a lot of fine crystals or scribby things that polish my skin. This scrub is very mild and doesn't get rid of the dead skin cells as well as I would like. It certainly is not BAD,. It's just a matter of preference and I prefer a scrubbier scrub. I will use the two pack I bought but won't repurchase.

I really love this product. It brightens up my skin, and is also great for my very sensitive skin.
