UPDATE 2/1/21: Folks, I'm sorry if I'm gushing, but I gotta tell you, this little stove is AWESOME. Really..... I've been using it at least 4 days a week and it's really neat. It heats up super fast, and once you learn to use it ( the knobs have numbers 1-4 on them), it's pretty simple to gauge your cooking. I've used stainless steel griddles, cast iron,. an enamel Dutch oven on this, and it works really well. I can't recommend this enough. Inexpensive and really works...... Guys, my gas needed to be turned off for a month (urghhh) so I panicked and purchased this item, an insta pot and pulled out my old Crock Pot. Anyway, I gotta tell you, THIS was a life saver... Yes, cooking on an electric stove is a bit different ( you really gotta watch stuff because it's tough to estimate when the coils are hot..), but honestly, I have absolutely no complaints. The unit heats up really quickly, and the knobs do turn on and off based on the non descriptive settings 1-5 ( i.e. when I see stuff boiling, like lentils, I turn the knob down to 1 or 2. The light turns on and off every few minutes as the temp adjusts....). Although it feels kinda cheap and flimsy, it's very lightweights and it works well and is serving its purpose. This was an excellent purchase during my emergency and well worth it. I'm keeping this baby.

I love it it heats up fast and it gets really hot!... It boils water super fast especially if you put the lid on!..This is the Best steel coil hot pate I've tried.. And you can put it on setting 2 to keep your food warm also!..
