we make chicken gyro meat at my house (look up the chicken gyros video by tasty on youtube - it's delicious!! no affiliation, i just found it and love it). before, we could only use one long skewer to fit in the oven, and it would tip over, and since it was one skewer it could only hold so much meat. we wanted to make more meat in one go than one giant skewer could afford us, because we wanted to cook a lot of meat all at once and have leftovers we could quickly heat up and eat throughout the week. i went looking for pans with skewers or spikes on them, and came up with this (it's not a pan, but all you do is put these on top of a baking sheet.) we only used ONE of the spike sets (it came in a set of two) and we were able to cook about 3 pounds of meat in one go so we will have plenty of leftovers. we only used one set bc we were afraid it wouldn't come out ok - i am pleased to say it came out sooo great, so next time we will cook using both sets at once - lots of leftovers :D such a great idea, i love this so much.

I was very glad to find a vertical skewer rack for making my tacos al pastor. I had been struggling with wooden skewers pressed into thick pineapple slices, but they would eventually collapse in the oven and were a huge mess.This works alright for my purpose. Essentially, it is better than nothing. But the problem is that the skewers are very very short. I wish I could find a vertical skewer system for in the oven that was sturdy and tall, but for now, this will do.

I was looking for a better way to cook meats in the air fryer. I found that the trays really don't allow me to cook a lot of meat at once, and you have to stop and rotate mid-cycle so that both sides cook. WELL...let me tell you about these little racks! Genius, I tell you, GENIUS!!! See the pics. I'm able to cook my meats standing! From chicken pieces, to pork chops, to steaks, ribs, etc. In one cycle, I can make 24 chicken wings, without having to stop mid-cycle to rotate them. I can now set it and forget it and not disrupt the process. They are DELICIOUS!!!! This is the BEST IDEA EVER!!!!***WARNING*** The spokes are very sharp! Be very careful when poking the meat through, you can hurt yourself like I did.

I decided to try this item after running out of real estate on my grill one too many times. I put the chicken parts directly on the grille and the sausages on the Vertrigrille (fitting a dozen in the space I might usually use for 2 or 3). I was super impressed with the results! They came out great; I was worried that they might not come out so well if they weren't sitting directly on the grill but no worries...they were perfect. The device seems well made and seems like it should last a long time. Highly recommended.

I used the product for wings and it allows them to brown all over. They are very difficult to clean and you can stab yourself really bad if you aren’t super careful. I soak mine for 2 days before I even try to clean them.

Finally, a rack designed by someone with a brain. I bought one to try and liked it so much that I bought more. These racks increase the capacity of my small smoker and because the skewers are moveable the spacing can be customized to accommodate different cuts of meat. The skewers can be removed after use for ease of cleaning and when the rack is not assembled it doesn't take up a lot of storage space. Everything is stainless steel too. Don't buy anything else.

Finally am able to cook wings without sticking to the pan or grill. Works great on the grill crispy wings as advertised. This will be used a lot.

After placing rack with Wings directly over burners for 15 mins, the wings were barely cooked. I thought cooking time would be shorter but not the case. I had to take the wings off the rack and put directly on the grill which defeats the purpose of the rack. Gas grill was heating at 350 degrees sing only two burners. I imagine this accessory is better suited for ovens and not grills. Feel free to over tips. My experience didn’t go well at all.
