Don't hesitate! Get this...it's funny...too bad there isn't a volume adjuster on it as it is loud but everyone of all ages love this thing! Check out the flamingo too. It's actually way cuter (I kept both) because it's sassy...it's neck moves. These things actually can change the range on their voices whether it's a female voice, male or child. Great little toy and super fun, funny and entertaining.

Can't wait to give this little hamster to our 2-year-old grandson! It's really adorable and speaks clearly when it mimics what you say. I'm tempted to get another to keep it the house. It does make you laugh. I'd like to secretly turn it on at our house when we have company coming over. Our friends are a lot of fun too and I'm sure they would think it was a hoot!

I bought and gave this to my granddaughter for Easter. Should have seen her face it was the highlight of the day - even more than hunting eggs. I gave it to her Uncle (my son) to open and get it ready for talking, he then said something and she (we named her Ella) to say something to my 2 year old granddaughter and it said "Maeve would you like to play with me?" Soon her Pop Pop (Grandpa) and Grandmother wanted to talk to Ella. We all tried high and low voices and Ella copied everything. I laughed saying Ella sounds like your Pop Pop. 100% worth every penny - go for it. It will surprise you too. In-Joy the special moments.

I bought 2 of these for my 2 grandkids and of course I had to take them to work with me to see them in action. (I'm a cashier at a gas station as well as a child caught in an old lady's body) Not only was I cracking up over this thing but the customers all loved them and hung around to watch other customers enjoying talking to the little hamsters. It mimics your voice very well. And the more you laugh, the more it laughs and it's just non-stop laughter. (matter fact, the other day a customer came in asking if I had them with me and I felt that I broke his heart a little telling him no I didn't, that they were gone. Another customer went on Amazon and bought one for his gr/kid but sadly his dog had gotten ahold of that one. (Keep out of reach of pets) But the two of those hamsters going back and forth with each other was a hoot!! I did finally have to come up off of them for one of the grandkids and he was having a blast with it. I'm going to be buying myself one just to take to work!!

It is adorable and does repeat what you say. Your child or grandchild will really enjoy this. It does have an off switch so parents can get some peace and quiet.

Cute little toy. Was a hit with my 6 month old nephew who's at that cute little baby babble stage. He finds himself very entertaining so, naturally, I thought he'd get a kick out of toy that mimics his own voice. It's even cuter because the hamster's voice is high pitched- kind of like The Chipmunks. The baby got the hang of it quickly and enjoyed equally when the rest of the family made the hamster chatter or sing. It doesn't always repeat everything back accurately, sometimes missing words or phrases and only picking up the last word... that kind of thing. My biggest complaint would be that this toy is way too loud. I wish there were a volume control switch on the bottom. Aside from that, I think it was a hit and I'm glad I purchased the little fella. I'm hoping to get lots of cute videos of the boy and hamster as he gets bigger. The boy, not the hamster. The hamster doesn't get bigger. It moves it's head when it repeats back to you but it does not grow bigger. ;)

My grandson has mild autism and he LOVES this toy. Unfortunately, it stopped talking after a day, but it was returned and a new one was promptly delivered. The voice on it is very clear and he gets the biggest kick out of it. He takes it everywhere now. He's 5. I'd share the video of him, but the last thing he says is "poop" and he thinks its so funny when it repeats the word. Kids.

Christmas Gift! my niece loves this little hamster and carries it around everywhere. Easy to use and sounds are great. Nice and durable with smooth movements. great value for the money.

I got this for my 2 year old niece. Her eyes lit up when she opened the package, and when she heard it talking back she was ecstatic! She was hugging it and petting it, with the biggest smile on her face! My brother on the other hand, jokingly told me it would be thrown out the window the next day because it’s SO annoying. The microphone picks up every little noise and repeats it in a high pitched hamster voice, there is no volume control and it’s quite loud. For an adult, it can get VERY annoying to listen to which I did not take into consideration when buying the toy. When it’s on it’s literally non stop. So kids loved it, adults want to smash it!

This is extremely poor quality and not worth the cash spent. Its also extremely small compared to pictures in the advertisement. Very short recording time not enough should be at least 10 seconds but it's more like 3!

This toy is overpriced for what it is but hilarious nonetheless

A little smaller than I expected but a very cute, soft, fun little toy. Records your voice and repeats back in the 'hamsters' voice. Fun for a small child!
