The value in this is giving a Craftsman vibe from a distance. If this was $25 I'd consider it for an effect. When I picked up the box, I thought someone must have stolen it. Nope. Fake plastic shade, lightweight base. Never made it out of the box and went back to Amazon.

It’s a tiny jewel that sparkles so brightly you’ll want more than one.It’s a task lamp. So, your desk and the entry way are good spaces for it.The base is heavy so cats will have to work at knocking it over.Geez, I love this lamp!

Note the dimensions. This is a small lamp. Its light is lovely. Others have not liked a somewhat fake quality to the shade. We see what they might mean. We are not lamp specialists, and we think it's quite good enough.

Uses small night light bulbs. The mica tone is from the shade. Not the bulb. Reminds me of Jeannie’s bottle. I did take it from California to Florida, to the Pacific Northwest. Made it in one piece.

Beautiful little lamp.Only takes a 25 watt bulb. So it throws off very little light.
