New and Healthy Theobroma Cacao Cocoa Chocolate Fruit Tree - TRINITARIO - Potted Plant Yellow Green

I knew nothing about this plant before I purchased it. It came in a little box and wrapped in a wet paper towel. I didn’t realize what it was when it came in so I didn’t open the box for a week. To my surprise, the plan was still alive when I opened the box. The seller supplied great planting/care instructions but I was a little nervous once I realized how complicated this plant can be to care for. However, it is still going strong months later and always putting out new leaves. Very cool little plant.

This little plant was shipped from a nursery about 4 hours- just over 200 miles away from me. Still it took 7 days. It sat for 4 days in a local post office with no movement at all. I assumed it was lost and wasn't expecting it to still be alive when/if it ever got delivered. However, it arrived very well packaged, healthy, vibrant and strong. I'm excited about the growing process but wow! and kudos! to the seller/shipper. (Not so much the USPS)

This is the third time I purchased 3 trees. I just got them out of the box, put them in window filtered light. They are already dying in less than a week.

I love it! Plant came in perfect condition and it was very thoughtfully packaged. They even added an information packet. I was very hesitant to buy this because I have never order a plant on amazon and with this high of a price. I waited a couple months to see if I still wanted it and ordered it. They did a super good job and I highly recommend buying it!

Nice healthy plant when it arrived

Very healthy. Packed very well. Very satisfied. Update the sapling is doing very well in a custome blend of cactus soil(for drainage) and regular potting mix. This is the yellow/green cocoa pod. It seems to be alittle slower than the red pod variety, but doing well on it's own timeline.
