I had this crazy hope of easily transferring my old data and records off of an old hard drive, and while it does function as advertised, it’s honestly a bit underwhelming. It’s a simple adapter—there’s not much to it in terms of features or design. The concept is great for anyone needing to pull data off an old hard drive, but there’s nothing particularly exciting about it. It does the job, but that’s about it.The setup is incredibly easy and straightforward. You simply plug it into the hard drive and your computer, and you’re good to go. The USB-C/USB 3.0 compatibility makes it versatile, and it works with both newer and older machines. However, one thing I found disappointing was that the transfer speeds are nowhere near what was advertised. I expected much faster data transfers, but instead, the speeds were much slower than promised, which made the whole experience feel a bit frustrating. It still works, but it doesn’t feel as quick or efficient as I had hoped.The design is functional, but again, nothing special. I use it to connect xbox to an external ssd

I used this to clone a new SSD for my laptop from the old mechanical internal 2.5" hard drive. Some SSDs come with a cable like this (for instance, an Intel SSD that I purchased came with the cable).This cable worked flawlessly. The connectors at both ends mated perfectly with the drives and had good mechanical feel. This added only a few dollars to the cost of my laptop SSD upgrade and was well worth the price.

This is a lifesaver. Someone had broken the plastic connection on their SSD which helps hold the SATA cable to the pins. This product allowed us to view the drive safely and externally while holding a stable connection since the product has both power and SATA connections together. Speeds may not have been at the highest possible for the drive but it definitely got the job done.
