Wide Angle Fisheye Lens 1.7mm 180 Degree HD 5 Megapixel Lens for CCTV IP Camera Panoramic CCTV Camera Lens

Give this camera a shot, and if you install it properly, you won't be disappointed. Recently I've opened up a cheap $20 Zosi security camera, used the lens part for live view peephole door camera. The width of that camera was awful. Could only see when directly standing in front of the door. I've searched around for wider lens and thought I'd give this a try. After some adjustments I was amazed how much it covered. Looks atleast 4 times wider than a peephole looking glass.Very happy for now, will update if anything changes(hoping for the best).

I used this to replace the stock lens on the 1080p cam B07MNGP7P5I'm using this as a backup or trailer, etc. cam, and this works perfectly as I can see the full slightly over 180 edge to edge, but I should note because the corners would be beyond the 180 degrees, but only a tiny amount. Well worth having the full edge to edge in the middle.

Getting about 170° FOV on Chinese1/3" CMOS sensor ($16 camera).Doing pretty good job. It is not 180° but I am sure that on better camera you will have really good views! Even in complete darkness at 6 feet distance I can see enough to count my chickens with just 2 IR emitting diodes lightning.

When combined with my usb camera with 1/3" image sensor I get slightly over 180 degree viewing angle. I tried it with another usb camera but with a 1/4" image sensor and only got about 110 degrees.Does not filter ir light, which is how i wanted it. Using it for a security camera.

Simple CCD cameras just don't have the viewing angle needed for small areas. This simple screw in replacement lens changes quickly, is sharp and you are a happy camper with a wider field of view. Good price, good deal. Do it.

I wanted to use this to spread a laser beam. As soon as I turned the laser on, I saw all the defects in the lens. I visually inspected the lens, and even without magnification I could see a big glass defect right near the center of view. This lens is very poor quality. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take pictures before throwing it away.

Worked out great on my chinese 1/3 cmos 2mp1080p board sensor. Pretty sure im getting more than 180 FOV cause i can see all the way to the edges and einside the lens on the very corners which is fine for me.
