I love tuna and use it in lots of things-casseroles, stuffed peppers, stuffed zucchini, etc. (and of course TUNA SANDWICHES!) The brand I had used for years had gotten so poor in their "quality" that I had to try something new. So I tried this. The tuna is white (!) and appears like a "fillet" rolled into the can. There is very little water and it is so tasty! Yes, it costs more but this is "wild caught" tuna not farmed, it tastes fresh and you get more in the can! (because of less water) Totally worth the price in my view-

Blue Harbor tuna is way better than all other popular brands sold in grocery stores. They are full chunks of tuna rather than scrap pieces that only cats like. And it doesn't taste fishy. It might not be totally white, but otherwise well worth the price. Nope, not a blue Harbor employee - just a very pleased customer.

Unlike others who ordered this, the 12 cans I got were all labeled as Aug/27 expiration date, so I have 2 1/2 years to consume them. Others said they got expired cans. Unlike the others who got dented cans, none of mine were dented, all in good condition. I've been using this Blue Harbor tuna since I was enticed to buy a can with a $2 off coupon. That brought the price down to less than I was paying for premium bumble bee tuna. However, the quality was so good, that I have continued to buy this brand for years, and I'm very satisfied with it. It's so good, that, when I went to China for a month, I took 8 cans of this Blue Harbor tuna with me for "comfort food." BTW, the canned tuna they sell in China still has the skin on it, which is the way the Chinese prefer it. As an American, however, I can't stand skin in my canned tuna. Do yourself a favor, and splurge on this brand. You won't regret it.

I loved that the fish was packed in very little water.The weight of the can reflected all tuna! Tuna is delicious. Fresh tasting and left me wanting more.

When I was a child tuna tasted so good I could eat it out of the can. The color was light and uniform. Texture was nice. Very little red pieces & no black bits.Over the last 20 - 30 yrs tuna is smelly, has lots of red & black parts...Blue Harbor tuna is just as good as the tuna of my childhood! Fresh tasting, uniform color, nice texture!Can't find in stores any more, which is why I bought from Amazon.
