Loved this for a little store I have. Perfect size a bit heavy but overall does the job well.

It's almost worryingly light, but on the bright side that makes it very portable. No one's tried to break in yet but it feels solid, opens easily with the provided keys, and has a very respectable amount of space inside. It's a good product, especially for the price.

This is a sturdy little cash box, perfect for toting to my outdoor markets. It has a change tray with a center compartment that my business cards fit into. I put cash money in the open space below the change tray. It has held up after almost 4 years of use. Highly recommended.

If you've come across this product, you're clearly not interested in a fireproof or waterproof enclosure. Likewise, you're also not looking for an impenetrable strong box. Instead, you have happened upon a cute cash box. I selected the Kyodoled Medium Cash Box with Money Tray for a small retail operation that mostly deals with credit cards. After a little money went missing, it seemed like a good idea to come up with a basic theft deterrent.The Kyodoled cash box is made of pressed sheet metal, with what appears to be enamel paint. It can't be pried apart with your bare hands, but can be breached with basic tools, or even a well placed shoe (and a curb). That's not really the point, though. If what you're trying to do is prevent a theft of opportunity, this will do the trick. The design is pretty basic (pin hinges, for example), which helps to explain the low price, but the finishing is good. The paint quality was good on my example, and there are no sharp edges or burrs.As for the use of the box, the lid hinge is fine. The lock action is also acceptable. The chromed handle is probably the least refined part of the box. Some people will use the tray insert, but I prefer the box without it. The best thing about the box (for me), is that it's low-profile enough to fit in old desk drawers. Considering this box costs about what a large fast food meal costs, it's an amazing bargain and a great item. Recommended.

Can't imagine anyone would be unhappy with this lockbox. I like that it's deeper than your typical Walmart lockboxes so it's got more internal storage space without taking up so much external space which matters to me mainly because I ride a motorcycle most of the time. The lock works flawlessly and the box itself is well made and looks nice also. If i absolutely had to give a con about it I would like more of a matte finish which is just a preference I wouldn't lessen my rating over. Honestly for 14 bucks I think it's great

I love all these little metal boxes. There are obviously drawbacks, like someone can just run off with it, but they work well and serve their purpose. I'm sure they can withstand some fire, but I wouldn't count on it. It is pretty sturdy, looks like the rest of these same generic money boxes. Value for the money is usually on spot. So it looks decent, fair value, and the mechanism to open and close. (As long as you don't lose the key like I did and now I have to pick the lock every time I need in it. So I advise you don't lose them, haha.)I will say that there is a slight smell to it, I believe it's from the plastic tray. I haven't tried washing it, but that may help with some sort of degreaser.
