Highly recommend
I am a groomer and I use this products on most of my dogs. It works really well to give a soft and moisturizing feeling to the dogs coat. You don’t have to you a lot but it still applies well to the fur. It doesn’t turn the hair greasy as long as you use a decent amount. And the smell it really nice and lasts a while before going away.

Helps a lot
I used this on dogs for customers when working as a groomer so i knew a lot of vets recommended it for itching and other skin problems- and i knew getting a dog dry after using it was almost impossible (the film it left in the fur made it tacky and clump). I also knew once it had taken its own sweet time drying- the fur would be amazingly soft and moisturized. I had never used it on my own dogs until about 6 months ago. We moved to a place with MUCH dryer air and my poor pups mild allergies and itching ramped way up as their skin and coats dried out in the wind. I bought a moisturizing and anti-itch shampoo that i pre-mixed before each bath in very warm water in a couple of reused old water or soda bottles. Then i scrub the watered down shampoo onto my dry dogs. This way i make sure the entire dog gets treated (if its wet- then its soapy) and it makes for less chance of soap in the dogs eyes or ears. I let it sit for 10 minutes- skip this part and you’ll be lucky to see any improvement. Then i rinse with warm water (even if its from a few gallon jugs or 2 liter bottles)- cold water makes the coat hold onto more oil and stink and even possibly the allergens stuck in that body oil. Then i towel them off so they aren’t dripping. After that i take more bottles this time with this condition premixed in warm water. It doesn’t matter that its been watered down- this stuff is intense. You should have enough conditioner in the water that you can feel the slickness of the conditioner on your hands and and the water is white and not see through. Then i soak them with it. I use a fair amount because i want them really having a lot of the conditioner on each part of their bodies. I give them some pets and a few treats so they don't roll around while i let them drip for a minute or so then i towel them off- as dry as i can possibly get then. They will take longer than usual to dry. Its really annoying. I throw old blankets over my dogs beds if they have to be inside (with wet dog smell for a looong time). Or i lock them onto a small paved area with no dirt for them to grind into their coats. Once they are are dry completely they are sooo lovely and soft. Best of all they are so much more comfortable. They usually sleep deeply for a long time after their conditioning baths- finally able to sleep without waking to itch. Ive started topping off this process whenever they start to itch by just making the conditioner and warm water mix and dousing them with it. Then towel them off and let them dry. This helped my guys so much they are back off meds and a lot happier

Still itchy
Helps with dry skin on my dog but she’s still itching. she has a lot of allergies which cause skin irritation, and I didn’t expect this to fix everything — but hoped it would be better than what it is. hard to spread on the fur. the smell is nice.

good for poison ivy rash
My pups got into some poison ivy and this helped calm it and heal it! They were scratching pretty badly and it’s was red. But after washing with an oatmeal shampoo and then applying this, they were able to finally relax and not be in such distress from the itching. Highly recommend!

Wow
My dog has developed a very dull and dry coat. I've tried Omega 3 supplements and special shampoo but nothing was restoring her coat to how it was when she was younger. I diluted this in a spray bottle and applied to her coat focusing on getting it down to her skin. I brushed it through and let it dry. The next day, her coat is shiny, slick, and smells amazing. This will definitely be a staple in our house from now on.

Staple for my senior dog who needs easy grooming
Lightly fragranced, non-irritating, excellent margin of error. My 16 yr old shitzu gates being bathed at this age... I applied this haphazardly, worried that her hair would end up looking greasy. Her coat dried softer, easy to brush, and her skin was soothed. You can mix it with a little bit of water as per the instructions (this is somewhat thick). It made my job easier and it made my dog's experience much better

It has potential!
I have a 16 lb Yorkie, whose hair (yes, Yorkies have hair and not fur) I keep cut short at all times...therefore my review is geared towards those who have short-haired dogs as well. I applied this product to my dog's coat while still wet, just after a bath. This product's consistency is that of a thick cream and once applied, it immediately hardened a bit and left a crunchy cast on my dog's coat. I tried to get rid of the cast by brushing the coat with a wet brush, but it didn't work. The shine on his coat was immediately noticeable though! His coat looked even better the following day... soft, moisturized, and shiny. Unfortunately, it made his itchy skin worse, and I think it's because of the apple fragrance that this product contains. I didn't want to give up on this product though! The next time I used it, I used one part product to two parts water in a small bottle. Worked like a charm!

It was meant for my cat
It was meant for my cat. She’s got dandruff from dehydration. I try to encourage her to drink water as much as possible, but she’s a cat. All I can do is offer fresh water. She gets wet food in the morning and dry food at night. I’ve tried several broth making powders that all claim your pet will love this and it’ll drastically help increase water intake because it’s so delicious. She will not drink this. It’s either plain water or water mixed in with her wet food gravy. She’s a great pita about certain things, but I love her so I try lots of things to help her hydrate. And where it’s caused her dandruff, I’m trying to find ways to make her skin more comfortable: I’ve bought a good brushing comb and rinse free oatmeal shampoo (I am NOT going to attempt to get her completely wet, I value my eyeballs not getting scratched out too much), and now I bought this to add some kind of moisturizing affect onto her skin. As many reviewers said, the product works very well diluted, I think I did about 50/50 by guesstimation. Anyways I have yet to use it on my cat because I ended up trying it on my own scalp that was dandruffy and it works fantastic.

Very good
I have a very furry golden doodle and was worried as per the other reviews about using too much product and her hair becoming stiff. That definitely was not my problem. I found I could be very liberal in applying it and it left her hair soft and smelling great. I do brush her out everyday and after every bath though. I found it also works great as a lotion on her sensitive skin. I would apply a dab on hotspots or on owies on her nose where she scratched. It seemed to soothe her.

Les queda increíble su pelo, de verdad maravilloso, es una suavidad y brillo que ya quisiéramos los humanos, no huele, pero después se les rocía perfume
