Wood-All Maple Wood Veneer Sheet, Rotary Cut, Spliced Face, 24x96, A Grade, 10 mil Paperback

I had purchased an IKEA desk that had exposed screw holes on the back and didn't give the desk that "finished" look that I wanted so I could place it in the center of my office. I purchased this veneer and glued it to the back of the desk using contact cement and a floor roller to smooth it out. It had no problem accepting the white gel stain that I purchased from IKEA to match the desk, and after several coats, it looks absolutely perfect! You would have no idea that I doctored the back of the desk. It looks totally stock and I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the desk is. I would buy this again in a heartbeat for any project that I may need veneer for.

Great and timely replacement for a bad sheet and a nice looking sheet

This veneer was easy to manipulate and I was able to stain it to exactly match my cabinets. I used contact cement to adhere it and that made it tricky to apply but the veneer itself was easy to use and looks beautiful

First off the description is wrong. Seller even says it's SPLICED rotary cut. The splices are 10 inch wide strips. The stripes don't match well either, they are slightly off and the actual splice has gaps so it's very obvious in places. The paper back is nice and works well with a contact cement. For the price it seems ok but you may need a tiny bit of filler.

You get alot of material for less money than others and there was no flaws or splits. Unfortunately, it is 2 pieces glued together to make the width and it detaches pretty easy. It split down the seam when I tried to roll it back up. Overall it is a good quality and worth the money easily

Very generous amount of veneer for the money, and far less expensive than my local woodworking store. It comes in a roll so it will take some time for the veneer to flatten out, but it’s worth the wait.

My initial review was 3 stars due to several small dark spots throughout the pane and smudges at the end of the sheet. Fortunately I had to use only 19 1/2" of width eliminating those areas. Once I lay'd it out on my cutting table I noticed a horizontal pencil line across the sheet telling me it looked like it was a return. Oh the color is a lot lighter then the image.

Great product. Used to make hollow mantel and cover ends to give look of solid piece of wood. Adhered well with contact glue and stained perfectly. Everyone complements me on my mantel as it looks expensive... our little secret.
