From the Publisher With a touch that can kill, The Reestablishment see Juliette as a threat. One they can trap and use as a weapon. But when she reunites with the one person in the world who cared for her, Juliette learns that her lethal touch can soon become her greatest power. Featuring 9 books, Tahereh Mafi has had readers obsessing over her epic, binge-worthy YA fantasy/dystopia series. Addictive, romantic, heart-breaking and utterly gripping. It's the series everyone is talking about. And now, from the bestselling author of Shatter Me comes an incredible new fantasy world. An unmissable tale of lost empire, enemies-to-lovers romance, political intrigue and forbidden magic. This Woven Kingdom and These Infinite Threads are out now! Review: Love, Power, and Rebellion in a World That’s Always Watching - Watch Me by Tahereh Mafi brings readers back into the gripping universe of the Shatter Me Series, blending dystopian tension with intense romance and emotional depth. Set in a world shaped by control, surveillance, and power, this new installment captures the essence of what made the series a global sensation—while adding fresh stakes and perspectives. The book explores a society where privacy is almost nonexistent, and every action is observed, judged, and controlled. Against this backdrop, the story unfolds with characters who are struggling not only against an oppressive system but also with their own inner conflicts. Themes of identity, trust, and freedom play a major role, making the narrative feel both personal and political. One of the most engaging aspects of Watch Me is its emotional intensity and romantic tension. Tahereh Mafi once again delivers relationships that feel raw and real, filled with vulnerability, passion, and complicated choices. The romance is not just a subplot—it becomes a driving force that influences the characters’ decisions and growth. The writing style remains poetic and immersive, a signature of Mafi’s storytelling. The inner thoughts of the characters are expressed in a way that pulls readers deeply into their minds, making every fear, hope, and desire feel immediate. What makes this book a great read is its relevance to modern times. With its focus on surveillance and public image, it mirrors the realities of today’s social media-driven world, especially for younger audiences familiar with platforms like TikTok. Overall, Watch Me is a compelling and addictive read. It successfully combines romance, action, and thought-provoking themes, making it a must-read for fans of dystopian fiction and the Shatter Me universe. Review: Paper Quality - The book arrived in a good condition and its the original book but the paper quality was a bit thin.

Best Series, Minor binding Issue
Got the paperback, though I did notice that the binding of my copy was a bit off - the first few pages felt like they were stuck together or had some misalignment. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning. Overall, i mean obviously i dont think so i do need to mention that its a great read.

Definitely worth the money
This is my first time buying a Hardcover and I would definitely recommend to buy Watch Me hardcover edition. I know it's a little more expensive but trust me it's definitely worth each penny.

Disappointed
There was honestly no need for this book/series. I would’ve been happier staying delusional, believing that Juliette and Aaron finally got their happy ending after getting married, peacefully living in the house Juliette lovingly renovated for them, having kids and finally receiving the love and peace they always deserved as children. But no, none of that happens. The terrible things James reveals that Aaron and Juliette went through completely broke my heart. Especially what happens to Juliette, like seriously, can someone please just let that girl live in peace already? And Tahereh’s recent comment about more painful things coming in this series makes me even more terrified. I’ll admit I’m being biased, but I only truly care about Aaron and Juliette, and it hurts knowing they’ll suffer again in this spin-off too. Now coming to the plot. Tahereh did create an interesting base for this new spin off series. There were some surprising moments and reveals, but most of the book felt very slow and boring. That said, some of the revelations will leave you speechless. The new villains and characters add some excitement and it will be interesting to see how things develop. But overall, this book mainly focuses on James explaining what happened in 10 years after The Reestablishment fell. It also revolves around Rosabelle, who works for The Reestablishment 2.0 who plans to attack The New Republic. Unfortunately, the book moved at a slow pace and was honestly hard to finish, mostly because the new main characters were just not interesting. I’m sorry, but no one can match Aaron and Juliette, and it felt like Tahereh recycled a lot of their storyline for James and Rosabelle. Speaking of the main characters, let’s talk about them. I couldn't believe how quickly James and Rosabelle were attracted to each other, even in such dangerous situations. There was no real buildup to their love story, it felt forced and way too sudden. James sadly reminded me a lot of Adam. It felt like Tahereh was trying to make him Aaron 2.0, but it didn’t work at all. People expected him to be a mix of Aaron and Kenji, but that’s definitely not the case. James came off as a young, immature guy who couldn’t function without guidance. He was quick-tempered, yelled a lot and kept throwing tantrums. He literally put his entire family in danger because of his reckless decisions, but somehow still had time to think about kissing and sleeping with Rosabelle like a teenager? You’re 21 James, and you keep saying you were raised by Aaron Warner Anderson? Really?! As for Rosabelle, her backstory felt like a mix of Aaron, Juliette and Adam’s trauma. I felt bad for her at first, but eventually it all became too much. There was nothing new or original about her character. What I did love were the scenes with the original characters. It was so nice to read about them again. I absolutely loved Aaron and Juliette’s moments and honestly, I want more. I really hope we get a novella or even a full book from their POV. They’ve clearly been through a lot in these 10 years and I want to read about it in detail, especially Juliette’s pregnancy. Also, Kenji and Nazeera’s breakup came out of nowhere. But maybe it means they’ll get their own book and if they do, then I definitely want one for Aaron and Juliette too! Even though this book was disappointing, I’ll still continue the series, only because I want to know what happens with Aaron, Juliette and their unborn baby. Tahereh, please don’t let anything bad happen to them!!
