Looks Good in Modern Remodel
Bought this for a remodel, originally wanted one with cleaner lines but couldn't find it for a 100sq ft space. This one is very nice, blends in great. Not obtrusive.

Good fan. A bit louder than expected.
It was fairly simple to install. When I screwed it in, the other side was slightly raised. Not a big deal, I just caulk it.I bought new insulated 4” duct that is about 5 feet long to attach to it. Made sure it was sloped and it was as short as possible.I took off one star because I don’t think it should be as loud as it should. I get about 57 decibels. It does reduce fog on the mirror quite a bit compared to my old bath fan. But loudness only was slightly less.I replaced my other smaller bathroom fan that had same length new insulated duct with a .8 sones and 70 cfm bath fan. It produced 45 decibels, which is quite a difference. For that reason, I don’t think this 1 sones is accurate.*update* after initial experience was good, I bought another one from Amazon Resale that was marked “like new”. I received it and everything was broken. Plastic pieces all over the place, metal bent up, fan out of place, etc. I returned it and they were about to process my refund subtracting the shipping cost. What! That’s not a full refund. After talking to them, they refunded the TOTAL amount. What are you trying to do Amazon!?!? Always double check your invoice.

quiet, installs nicely
redid a bathroom, and this AE50 was just the thing to replace the existing (but non-functioning) fan that was literally 50 years old. Very quiet, moves enough air in a 520 cu ft bathroom with shower, even though I had to choke down the exit port to mate with the old corrugated foil exhaust, so a fair amount of resistance. Good manufacture.

Very pleased...
Very pleased. Should have replaced the old exhaust fan years ago, probably a 50CFM if I had to guess. I replaced it with the 110CFM. Compared to the old fan, it's extremely quiet and works well... One more thing scratched off my "to do list"... next!

Works good
I replaced a fan that was half the rating of this and was the original in my house since it was built almost 20 years ago. The old one was building up condensation and leaking into my ceiling so I went with this one since it was a stronger fan. Install was mostly easy but I did do most of it from up in my attic since I had access to get to it making it a little easier. As others have said the vent cover is junk how it connects and will be the most frustrating part of the process. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that it’s loud. Personally I don’t think it is. It is quieter than my old one but yes you can hear that it’s on. Not sure what sound level people are hoping for. I have a decently large bathroom and it still fogs up the top of the mirror with a long shower but it quickly evacuates as soon as the shower is off. I’ve also not had it fog over even a quarter of the mirror so overall it works good.

Not quiet enough to be installed next to a bedroom.
I replaced an older Broan fan with this newer one. Installing the new fan was easy but it is much more noisier than I expected.
