Works well for the price
Easy to adjust, solid and sturdy, and there’s leather on the tips that don’t damage my work. It’s cheap and gets the job done 👌

This is good if you’ll use it the way it should be used
I’m a neurodivergent (dyslexia & adult adhd) I do my craft anywhere which means I don’t normally sit on a chair or a bench. If your a person who would use it as how it’s intended to be used you’ll love this. I had to return mine and get sometime more movable. Since I’m normally doing things on a floor or random places where a chair might not be available.

Great product, inaccurate pic of parts
I love this clamp. Works exactly as I'd hoped and saves me from hand cramps. That said, the picture clearly shows it disassembled with a wingnut and bolt that are NOT what you receive. There's a screw already in it (not a wingnut) and when I looked at it I immediately thought: parts missing. I'm not going to fiddle with this and mess up the possibility of returning it. So I returned it for a replacement. The replacement again did not have the wingnut and bolt and then I thought I should just take out the screw that was already put in and assemble it the way I believe it's supposed to be. And voila! it was perfect. Fixing the picture would take care of the problem of ppl thinking parts are missing.

Great leather clamp - very useful
I used to stitch while trying to use a vice or with nothing at all, sometimes holding the leather between my knees. This is much more convenient. It feels solid, and I can't imagine an easier clamping system design -- the flip up/down nature of the clamp is excellent and very smooth.

Nice
Overall it is a good product. Nice finished edges, no splinters or cracks. I did take block that the clamp sits on off and sand the back and add some wood glue when I reattached it. I also added two large flat washers to the bolt of the clamp to keep it from digging into the wood and gave the seat a coat of tung oil. Great product and would recommend it to anyone.

sturdy, good quality
Ordered 2 brands ( Tosnail and FASTTOBUY) to compare quality, but I was mainly buying for the PONY, as a newbie to leather stitching. Tosnail is pony only, no add-ons, but its quality (wood weight) and build (joint alignment) is much better. Joints line up. FASTTOBUY is made of light weight wood, so I doubt it would hold up to strains of clamping; feels slimsy. Some of the FASTTOBUY joints clearly do not line up (almost beveled surfaces) so strength across joint is reduced. Glad I made the effort to compare the items on site, as it is hard to judge from reviews. FASTTOBUY is getting returned. My reason for 4 instead of 5 is that Tosnail could have an extra hole in the mid-base to allow for optional mounting.

Not very robust
For the most part I bought this only because it would be easier to spend $22 than to take the time to build it. I didn't expect much from it and no surpise, it's not very robust. The clamp mechanisim works fine, but the clamping action is uneven. The side closest to me holds the leather piece much firmer than the far side. The far side normally slips up. Tightening the clamp action doesn't help as the uneveness still remains. I'm afraid to go to far with tightening for fear of pulling the screws out at the bottom or cracking the wood. I'm guessing the jaws are not square, or possible the clamp center is a bit off. As is, it can still be used so I'll just live with it for this one project I'm working on. Still easier to buy it than make it but all I can muster is 3 stars as its just basically ok.
