Cough, Safe and Natural Cough Supplement for Dogs, Cats, and Small Pets, 15 Milliliters

It works really well for my two pups! My older dog Harry started first and I bought this to see if it would work and it immediately made a difference. My other dog Sally just started and once again, it stopped her cough as well. Definitely recommend as a first step until you can get a vet appointment.

This stuff is seriously amazing! Let me preface that a bit with a somewhat long story... Once upon a time... just kidding... I have an 8yo Catahoula (big farm dog), named Daniel Dog, and two months ago he started coughing. It was a dry, hacking, non productive cough. I made him an appointment at his Vet, and then started Googling what it could be. DON'T EVER DO THAT! I immediately became upset and worried for the next 24 hours. The Vet could not find anything wrong with him... like at all! So several hundred dollars later, I was given a "well, let's see if this medicine helps" and was sent on my way with 3 very expensive prescriptions. They didn't do squat! So, back to the Vet we went. They still didn't find anything and were completely stumped! So they gave us some doggy robitussin, and wished us well. (My Vet is awesome by the way! Like seriously, great!) As we were nearing the end of our most recent prescription of doggy robitussin, I decided to see if it was any cheaper on here (Amazon). This prouct (HomeoPet Cough) came up in my suggestions at the bottom. I clicked it and read everything on the page, even the reviews before deciding to try it. (Yes, every single one of them!) It looked safe, and it was way cheaper than his cough medicine. So, I figured what they heck... whats $10 more dollars. I was still a bit skeptical, but I was willing to try it for the sake of my puppers. Daniel was downright miserable, and I hated it for him. I went ahead and paid the little extra to get it here a little faster, and it arrived the next day. Still a bit skeptical, I went back and re-read everything. After being put somewhat at ease, I pushed forward, and decided to go for it. Daniel, being the big dog he is, is not a fan of medicine. So this has been a daily struggle for us. Luckily enough, it also happened to be the same day that his Nexgard (monthly flea & tick pill) was due, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone since I did not want to fight him any harder than I had to at this point. I took the dropper, and made a puddle of the drops on the one side of his pill. It was maybe 8 drops... maybe 9... but definitely not 10! Then the struggle ensued! After I had successfully dosed my Daniel Dog with his medicines, I waited... not sure for what. He still coughed a bit that day, but not as much. The real miracle happened the next day.... HE DID NOT COUGH ONCE! Seriously, not a single hack! I was amazed, but still somewhat weary. At that point, I assumed it was like honey, and coated his throat somehow. I was happy, but made a mental note that it was probably just temporary... BUT IT WASN'T! I gave him this medicine on July 3rd and he has not coughed once since the 4th. Whatever this is, soothed his throat long enough for his ailments to disappear. I may still have to give him more later on, but I will gladly take forcing medicine into him every once in a while over every 4 hours (like clockwork)! Today, my Daniel Dog is a happy old man! He isn't coughing, and that makes taking his naps a whole lot easier for him.

I am former vet tech, and needed to find a reasonably priced (less than a vet clinic visit) medicine for one of my cats who has been vetted with NO results for his terrible hacking cough. I was told it was due to him being slightly overweight, but I was once a vet tech, and had my doubts...and the cost of that advise was...well..expensive. I was at a loss how to help him and then started hearing the same cough in my 19 year old cat and the 3 month old kitten we'd recently rescued after someone tossed her into the river. At that point, I knew this was *NOT* a weight issue; this was the start of possible "rhino"; which is basically what is known as a "common cold", but in a cat, can be deadly. They cannot blow their nose, nor cough up the mucus; and my poor buddy would just crouch and hack and hack and wheeeeze trying to breathe. (I am dealing with the after affects of multiple cancers and the vet here where we now live is soo costly). I decided after reading through the feedbacks, to order this product. "Junior" is getting a dose of this, twice daily in his wet food. As long as he doesnt SEE us putting it into his food; he willingly gobbles it down and to my surprise? he licks up the liquidy part; first and thats the medicine with a bit of "gravy" from the canned food. (be sure to give only a bit of food when dosing, so they dont fill up and you wont know if they got the medicine!). Its been...hmm..almost 2 weeks and it has made a HUGE difference. I havent heard him cough in several days now, and the other cats? NO coughing at ALL. I am delighted to say I think he is improving daily. This cat, cannot be pilled and I am good at it, so being able to dose this into wet food is great and this one bottle is more than plenty, which is also a plus. I am so glad I found this and grateful to others who also take that extra time to leave feedback so we can make a more informed decision. (as I always do too). If your dog or cat or...whatever your furkid is, has a hacking cough? BUY this. It is WELL worth the cost. I was so worried for our boy and NO, he hasnt lost any weight but I know he is feeling much, much better. Thank you HomeoPet. I’m sure it’s a good product but unfortunately did not work for my dogs cough which indicates a deeper issue I’m still trying to get to the bottom of. I observed no changes in his cough unfortunately

Helps releive our dogs cough

I have a 16 year-old Chihuahua that coughs continuously throughout the night and during the day. I decided to look up something that would help him not cough as much. And I found this product. I read reviews and it made me believe that I could help him. I gave him the recommended amount. Within less than 24 hours, he had a really bad seizure. I honestly thought he died. I honestly didn’t think it was a product so I gave it to him again. And then again it happened within the last 24 hours another really bad seizure. This was a lesson learned on my behalf that I can’t trust everybody and with their reviews. I also need to do more research to not put my own friend at risk. Just be mindful, about the stuff that you put in your best friend. I haven’t given him any product within the past few days, he still has a cough, but I rather have him have a cough, then see him struggle once again with another seizure.

This is a natural product which worked 💯 and was effective almost immediately for my GSD, it's also much more gentle on pets with sensitive tummies. I prefer to use natural products or Vet recommended products which are made in UK. It does work. Well worth the money.

Kennel cough ran through our house and my first dog got it and it took me a few days before getting this product but when I did I immediately started dosing my second dog as well. The second dog got kennel cough too but WAY milder than my first dog. If you know your dog might have been exposed to kennel cough give this to them right away before any symptoms appear and it'll help a lot. It did help my first dog too as once I started giving her this this she was coughing less and was more comfortable and recovered quickly. I've already ordered another bottle to have on hand if we get it again.

Used this for Kennel cough that our dog aquired Followed directions provided, worked great Had to order another for backup, and it eased the dry cough in days. So thankful for this Over the Counter herbal medicine

Why did you choose this product over others?: This item is brilliant My 14 year old dog had kennel cough and not on coughing but brining up mucous Day one of administration saw her bring up so much mucous and I went through so much towels and her bedding because of it. However the following day she was hardly coughing at all and minimal mucous production. She is more happy and settled now on day 3. Tomorrow I will reduce the drops I give her on a gradual basis. I highly recommend this product. I've also used the other product they produce for bladder incontinence and works just as well.
