ACDelco Gold 18FR2247 Front Driver Side Disc Brake Caliper Assembly (Friction Ready Non-Coated), Remanufactured

The product appeared to be in new condition although it was re-manufactured. It had not received rust preventive conditioning, but I provided the treatment and believe it will last me the rest of my well-maintained truck's life. The units I removed were the original calipers from 2005 when the Silverado was first sold. With trucks and autos costing rediculous prices today, It is better to maintain them, rather than high monthly payments. The quality is likely better also. So Take the time and care for your rides!

Bought these calipers to upgrade my 1st Gen avalanche to a GM 900 brake system. Very happy with the outcome truck stops so much better.

direct bolt on for my '05 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.8 V8, assuming these stand up over time I see no reason not to purchase these. OEM remanufactured units, same as what came on the truck brand new.

Upgrade over stock. These were installed on an 05 and 03 suburban. They are a factory big brake kit upgrade for this model year although they are stock for later years. I added these calipers along with 1 inch larger rotors and high performance brake pads. The brakes of my denali are 100% better.

This caliper works just as it is supposed to. Unfortunately, it rusted almost immediately. It would be nice to have a company paint the caliper to help resist rusting. In actuality, I do not know anyone who would prefer the metal look over a nice painted caliper, so why not appease customers?
