By far the best soy sauce ever. The taste is fantastic and it is not overpowered by saltiness. If you haven’t tried it already purchase this product over any other soy sauces.

This is the best shoyu ever! I used to think it was just because I grew up in Hawaii, but everyone from the mainland that I have try it agrees that this is the most superb shoyu made. Now that I live on the mainland, I am really happy that it is available at a reasonable price on Amazon since it is not always available at the commissary. The taste is far superior to all other shoyu sauce so if this was not available for me, I would be heartbroken. It comes in a variety of sizes, but the half gallon is perfect in my opinion. It fits in most cupboards and is easy to handle. The salt level is perfect and there is no horrible aftertaste like in other shoyus on the market. This is something that I will order again if the commissary ever stops selling it or is out of stock.

Got used to this soy sauce when I lived Hawaii dude in the 80’s. It’s definitely a unique flavor. My teriyaki suffered when I moved back to the east coast. Kikkoman cant even come close. I tried a bunch. Settled on store brand. It occurred that as much as I dislike bezos, this was a likely place to find it. And I did. Everything tastes better with a taste of aloha. Then it shipped from Minnesota I believe. Go figure. Anyway, more of a fermentation taste I think is he difference. A little pricey but worth it. Mahalo
