Dremel 426 Fiberglass Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels 1-1/4" Dia., .045" Thick, Black

First, I'll note that I received genuine Dremel brand cut off wheels. Some reviews indicate otherwise, but these are genuine with proper markings in a genuine package. I've had good luck with these. The reinforcement means that they don't break when you accidentally lean a little to the side when cutting something thick. That's a real feature compared to the ones that are just abrasive disks, even the thicker abrasive disks. You can run these right down to where they are too small in diameter to use i.e. around 10mm diameter and I doubt you'll break one. I find them very useful for cutting nuts and bolts, etc. Note that these are not a replacement for a large grinder with a 4" wheel. They are not for cutting 4' of sheet metal. They're for semi precision work. Things like cutting a nut off around a stud or bolt and leaving the bolt mostly untouched. Maybe cutting some smaller diameter screws to length. They're not inexpensive, but they will save you one day and they will be worth every penny.

Exactly what my husband was looking for for his Dremel. Needed replacements for his that were quite worn out.

These are much more durable than the non reinforced wheels. And they don't explode during use. They don't last long on any metal thicker than 22 gauge but you can't beat it for intricate, detailed metal work. Too expensive for what you get in my opinion.

Just got a small pack to test and yes, these are the equivalent of metal cutting disks for angle grinders. IDK why it took me so long to figure out what I needed to get and search for. Now trying a different brand but 50-pack. Although these are great, if trying to cut thicker metal (1/16" for instance) you do go through them. But I can now get into places I can't with the angle grinder and actually cut the metal (car work). Oh, the hole in the center is small - I assume this is so it will fit a variety of screws. Not really an issue, just sick something in there to widen as needed.

Much sturdier than standard cutting blades. Went through 4 of them and none of them broke off.
