I bought this to sew a hole in my couch. It was useful and served its purpose. Easy to use for someone who knows nothing about sewing.

I bought this set to mend the broken buckle on my leather sandal. I was able to use one of the needles, the brown waxed thread, and the enclosed thimble to attach the buckle and elastic to the leather shoe strap. I'm glad I bought this kit because the cost of leather needles and spools of waxed thread for sewing machines was cost prohibitive and wasteful for the tiny job I needed to do. I pushed the needle through the previous holes in the strap and the waxed thread glided through the layers of material without snagging or fraying. This is a great kit for preventing small repairs turning into big repairs.

This arrived and was exactly what I needed. I used the curved needle to sew up the end of a leather couch. It worked perfectly. The kit came with quite a few more needles than I expected and something that looks like a seam ripper and nice waxed thread that slid nicely through the fabric -- and some other items that I am not sure what they are. For under $10, i was able to easily fix the couch arm in a few minutes.

Perfect heavy thread and sturdy needles. Repaired a seam on a new couch (that my pup decided to chew). Great result!

Put in my Camping emergency kit in case we needed to repair the tent, sleeping bags or tarps. Needles are strong and easy to thread. Perfect fix it kit.

Kit seems good but mine did not have thread included. I only got around to it after the return window was closed so it’s too late for that.
