This drain cover is great at filtering hair and soap scum. Very easy to install and fit. You will need a drain that has no trim or bars - it's got a long depth basket. Fits perfect in my drain. You won't be able to fill the tub of course. Works if you don't take baths. The basket comes out; you scoop out the gunk and rinse. Snap the basket back into its cover and it's ready to put back in to keep your drain clean and no clogs.

Oh my goodness, this product is a life saver! I used to have major problems with the drain in my master bathroom shower, I actually bought a drain snake because calling a plumber to clear my drain every 2 months is absurdly expensive. Then I got smart and started using various products to filter my shower drain. Most of these products are unsightly and all of them, including this one, requires removing whatever you have covering the drain in order to geth the filter in place. Voila! I no longer have to snake my pipes! I've used other filters, which were much less aesthetically pleasing and much less effective. The drain cover is silver and it easily is attached to the filter, and then you just put it in the drain. The filter catches hair and whatever else might clog your drain, and when the filter is full you can just toss it and put in a new one, or try to clean it out to get more use out of it (this is not that easy and it is icky, but more frugal and environmentally friendly). You will need to get the drain cover in order to use these filter baskets, but trust me it is a good investment!

I got this product not because I needed it to catch hairs that go down the drain, but because I needed it to cover the drain on my bathroom shower. My previous drain cover no longer fit for whatever reason; I don't know why. But I order this product and it fits perfectly. I am very pleased with this product. It's sturdy, durable and easy to install and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

This works great, doing just what it says it does-catches hair in the basket & keeps my drain from getting clogged. I have long hair & the little basket fills up after I wash my hair a couple of times, so I have to clean it out often. I wish the basket could be larger but then it wouldn't fit inside the drain. I like that it has 2 extra baskets included so I can just swap them out quickly. The basket is a bit difficult to clean because of the way the bottom is molded I have to use a cotton swab to reach the hair & shampoo/soapy gunk in the bottom. The best way to get the basket totally clean is to use water pressure, a garden hose with a spray nozzle works great. Cleaning it is so disgusting, even though it's my own hair it's still just gross, but much better than having a clogged drain. I like this hair catcher & would recommend it for anyone with hair! The white is a nice touch, it blends well with my white shower.

Catches hair great! The quality is great. Water drains through and catches the hair. Easy removal but not easy to clean. I just replace the filter.

Bought these for our new master bath. It works like a charm. The amount of hair and other nasty stuff it catches is surprising. I know these are disposable but we try and clean and reuse them a few times before tossing. Will definitely buy more when these run out.

I was cleaning my shower when the stock drain cover came off. It was disgusting! I immediately tossed it and ordered this. I liked the idea of it being easy to clean and the basket being replaceable.Pros:- it was so easy to install. Snapped right in.- looks great. Love the black as it matches my other plumbing hardware.- easy to clean (so far). I have only emptied it once, but so far so good.Cons:-“disposable” hair catcher. I don’t love that you eventually have to throw the cup away. I would prefer something with more longevity, but what can you do.Overall, I think this is a great solution for catching hair and would purchase again!
