Chickens love this stuff. Value for the price
I've only had chickens for around 9 months so I don't know if chickens, like goats, eat everything. My chickens, however, love this stuff and eat it pretty darn quickly.

Good, convenient but expensive
This is very expensive for what it is. I ended up getting a large bag of organic unmedicated chick starter from IFA and it was less than twice the price for 8x the amount. I should have gone to ifa to begin with. This is a great pack though if youâre looking for the convenience of delivery and donât care about price.

Date in package is Lot date, not expiration. Grind it for your little ones
The media could not be loaded. I got this for my one day old silkie chicks. I realized they were not eating it and it was because the crumbles were too big. So I ground them and they have been eating non stop since then!The date in the package is the Lot date, not the expiration date. I purchased another bag in for. A specialized store and the date in the package was even an older one. The associate explained the date represents when it was packed, not when it expires
