I have hard water and use this between cleansing washes (like using extra stuff to wash my hair), and it truly helps decrease the hard water build up after a wash. It’s not perfect, but it’s great not having immediately greasy hair after a shower. I do want to note this smaller bottle seems to work better than the bigger one? It smells better too. I don’t know why they are different. But I recommend the smaller bottle.
