This game set is SO IMPRESSIVE! The fabric carrying case is made extremely well. The tiles are beautiful. The racks/pushers are very sturdy and they have a metal screw holding the pusher in place which is impressive. They also include 2 separate wrap around quilted holders with velcro...one os to protect and hold the tiles (which are in two separate boxes with covers) and one for the pushers/racks. I never expected such high quality for such an outstanding price. Highly recommend!

Very nice set. Love the paisley bag. Very classy, made well. Only complaint is that the Velcro sleeve for the tiles should be a bag instead of a sleeve for the trays they come in. I sew so I was able to change the sleeve into a bag. Tiles are good quality, over all great product. Would highly recommend!

Good quality tiles made of melamine, good quality ink designs on the tiles. Everything was packaged well so nothing broken when we opened the box. The racks are 4 different colors, excellent design. I like that they supply two padded holders for the racks to keep them safe. The outer bag is plenty roomy and holds the tiles and racks with room leftover. Excellent construction with fabric, sewing, strong handles, and good quality nylon zipper. Many of my Mahjong friends have this same set, which is why I bought it too. We have already played a few games and I am very pleased with the Gustaria Mahjong game set.

I just received the Mahjong Game set and it looks very nice. The carrying bag is well made. I haven't used any of it yet but everything appears to be nice. I have played with this particular set in a Mahjong Club and this is identical to it so I am very pleased.

I've been dabbling in Mahj for about three months now, playing weekly in person and daily online. It was TIME to get a set, but I didn't want to invest an arm and a leg. This set arrived packed so well! The racks were individually sleeved, with a rubber band keeping the pushers held to the rack, then the four sleeves were together in a fully bubbled computer mailer! I was not expecting this level of packing care and it's amazing! The tiles came in two long trays, with clear plastic lids I wish were a little more sturdy, but all was ready to go here. I don't play with coins, but they were there along with dice, two extra jokers, and six extra blanks in the interior zip pouch of the bag. This kit doesn't include a mat - I had bought mine separately. I know how to play already so I didn't look at the instruction manual - until after I went to make the walls and there were so many extra tiles! Turns out, they included a full extra set of flowers! So I deconstructed the walls, took out the additional flowers, verified everything else was as normal, and went back to constructing the walls. I looked in the instruction manual at this point to get clear on the number of tiles per wall and saw several ways that this manual is quite flawed. Instead of stating you need two stacked rows of 19, It simply states: "Each player builds a wall of tiles face down in front of his rack two tiles high. All 152 tiles should now be part of the wall." If you do the math, 152/8 = 19 per row, but it should be explicitly stated for beginners. Additionally in explaining the Charleston, the diagrams do not match the text. The Right - Over - Left; Left - Over - Right (ROLLOR) is explained correctly, but the arrows in the diagrams point Right - Over - Right; Right - Over - Right (RORROR) and there is no description of a courtesy pass. There are some pretend hands described in the end of the manual, but for a manual on American Mah Jongg to NOT mention that the player must secure a National Mah Jongg League Card separately is a big miss. You literally cannot play in public without one, and learning the card is arguably the most important aspect of the game as a beginner. Honestly, toss out the manual and hop on YouTube. There are some amazing tutorials out there, all for free, that will help you to play confidently. There are also some great sites - I Love Mahj is my favorite for really learning the game, but it's a subscription. This is a great starter set. The zipper on the carrying case isn't the most sturdy, but if you're not trekking all over with it, this set gives you almost all you need to start playing. Just make sure you buy your NMJL card, and if you don't like the sound of tiles clacking, get a mat.

This is a lovely tile set. It is a complete set. I think the best thing about it is the quality of the tiles. The images on the tiles are large and clear and the tiles are a good size. I highly recommend this set for anyone getting into Mahjong or wanted a straightforward, quality set with all the accessories. The bag is quilted and really nice too.

The mat is pretty, but quite heavy. It’s too heavy to carry with me to mahjong games, so I had to return it. Wasn’t practical for my use.

You get what you see! Great quality, beautiful, and easy to carry. I recommed keeping the bubble wrap for the tile holders, to keep them safe.
