I got this two pack of can openers to put into our 72 hour kits, or bug out bags, whatever you like to call them. The can openers themselves are fairly flimsy and probably wouldn't do well with everyday use in a kitchen, however they do indeed work although it takes more muscle and determination than the full-sized butterfly can opener I have in the kitchen. Their compact size make them perfect for 72 hour kits to open the canned goods with only taking up minimal space, plus the are very economically priced. I highly recommend them for emergency prep.

This can opener is the worst one I ever had. It didn't work for any cans I tried . It is so flimsy that my husband couldn't use it. Save your money and get a different one.

I didn’t realize that the knotched wheel of my old can opener was worn down until it would no longer open a can. This one is perfect. It is great to receive two. I put the extra one with my camping supplies.

Absolutely the best Can opners on the planet!Over the years I've had all sorts of can openers and always managed to buy some kind of can that defeats them ( usually 'own brand' cans of tomatos) ... which is incredibly frustrating when you're in the middle of cooking,!But nothing defeats these babies. Incredibly simple, easy to use, and you get two of 'em!

Thinner metal than expect, on the flimsy side of spectrum but good enough if you buy a backup.
