Worked great even with only a 1hp dust collector. Used it to vac up loose insulation.

I was very pleased with the performance of this bag. I thought for sure when i ordered it that there was no way i would be able to fill it completely and still move it without tearing. Well i filled two of them with old insulation about 80lbs worth.I was very care not to rip it while loading the first one into my pickup. But when unloading at the dump i was rather aggressive in the handling of it. But to my surprise it still did not tear. I hope i never have to use another one of these bags because the removal of the insulation was pretty terrible but if i must. It will most definitely be a RAM bag.

These bags have been great so far. Had a few tears where debris shot through the bag, although once I made sure to align the hose at an angle where it didn't hit the side of the bag, it was no longer a problem. Even where there were tears the bags still held together well and allow you to put a lot of material in them. I've used 4 of them so far and the best solution for me was to stand them up tall with a ladder. All in all, this is a great product that gets the job done, but is a little expensive when you weigh the cost vs quantity of material required to make the bags. I'd still recommend them without hesitation if you need a product like this.

Excellent product. Does what it suppose to. Carried 3 fully loaded bags of insulation with no tears unless rubbed on something. Does not blow much dust out. Bags can get heavy when fully loaded.

Bag is thick and filters the discharge air well. I used this paired with a Toro leaf vacuum to remove soiled and compacted attic insulation. The bag was located on the first floor inside the house while I worked in the attic. No fiberglass or insulation material penetrated the bag. The bag does get heavy and a little unwieldy for maneuvering inside a home once filled. I had tried using this with the side fill method but due to the low CFM of the vacuum used it didn't work that well. Switched to the top fill method and it worked great. Would buy again.

Excellent product, I rigged up a harbor freight 2hp dust collector with a corrugated 4" hose to remove insulation from my attic. The bag worked exceptionally well. My house is in the country and has accumulated dust in the cellulose for 25+ years. It filtered the dust extremely well, and collected the insulation very well.I placed the bags in the back of my pickup filled it and compressed the insulation and continued to do so until it was full. My 1200sqft house with 8" of cellulose took 5 bags to collect 90%+ of the insulation.Great product will use again if I need to, I hope I never have to remove insulation again.

I do not normally review anything. I was fully expecting that these bags would be flimsy or cheaply made and they would rip at the slightest tug. They surprised me even when traveling on a pickup at 60 mph to the dump they stayed in one piece. They get the job done so I purchased more.

This flexible pipe material is made for sawdust only. You may want to buy heavier Duty Flex for removing attic insulation. My attic insulation had too much sharp debris and would puncture the wall of the pipe. Overall good product. Just may not be heavy duty enough.
