The best meal replacement out there. I’ve tried lots of different shakes, from huel, to supermarket own brands and slim fast. Y food beats them all, every time. Impressive range of delicious flavours and nice sized bottles for travel, work etc. Although it’s not specifically for weight loss (and there’s a lot of calories in one bottle, be warned), the difference is y food actually TASTES GOOD and FILLS YOU UP. Because of this, one bottle will take me around an hour to finish and it’s really satisfying. I am actually losing weight because I’m drinking this instead of snacking and buying coffee. Another huge benefit, most shakes upset my stomach (I have IBS). Y food doesn’t. Thanks y food! Can’t recommend you enough!

Great flavours and liquid food. Very tasty and fills any hunger with all the goodness when unable to eat solid food or feeling unwell.

Fabulous taste , packed full of essential vitamins and nutrients and ideal if you're looking for a meal replacement which tastes really good ! The big plus for me is it keeps you feeling full for a few hours , so no need to snack or graze between meals . I think the taster pack is excellent value for money and the 3 that I've tried so far are all delicious , creamy and not at all powdery .

When it comes to these meal replacement options, taste is a top factor. Nutritionally and price-wise, many are on a similar playing field, though yfood usually sits at the top end of the protein table. After trying Arla, Huel, Plenny and Bol, I find the yfood classic line is the best tasting of the bunch, thanks to its milk-based formula (Plenny is just as good in texture). It's smooth, creamy and sweet. They definitely have the taste and texture down, the flavours are also varied, with the Cold Brew Coffee also carrying a 100mg caffeine shot. I use these for breakfast or lunch, usually on days when I'm hungry but don't really have an appetite. It's a healthy way to get a complete meal in your system without having to force down food, and it's far better than just skipping a meal or grabbing whatever bits are nearby. These are not meant to replace your diet, you still need those big whole food dinners. The milk base is definitely the winning ingredient here, it's also lactose free for those with lactose intolerance. However, it is full of milk protein, so it is not suitable for anyone with a milk allergy. The naturally occurring sugar and fat content is also high, with each 500ml bottle packing around 22g of sugar and 15g of fat. It's not a problem if you have no specific dietary issues, but they are on the higher side. My only personal issue is the sweetness. All the flavours are quite sweet due to the use of sucralose. While it’s an effective artificial sweetener, it creates a taste that, when combined with the rich texture, can feel like you're overindulging. This sweetness leads to flavour fatigue surprisingly quickly, ask yourself, how many times can you eat the same sweet cake in a week? It gives the strange impression of having something unhealthy, despite knowing it's nutritionally complete. For these reasons, I'm giving the classic milk-based range 4 stars. It's the best tasting option with a fantastic protein-to-calorie ratio, but the intense sweetness might not be for everyone.

Best meal replacement I have ever tried so smooth no powdery texture at all, easy to grab and drink on the go. Amazing flavour and value for money, decent for weight loss although I do wish they offered a lower calorie version, strong bottles and smelt like a normal drink.

Excellent the taste is strong and vibrant I hate vanilla but this one is like drinking icecream smooth and light . The cold brew coffee is like a late not too strong , the berry is my least favourite would have preferred strawberry , the chocolate is just right , the banana actually tastes like a banana they are also quite big which fills you up I wasn’t hungry for a long while around 5-6 hours . Brilliant will keep buying and the fruity flavours I will try they also do a vegan one

Great shakes ! Love all the flavours but especially the coffee and peanut ones . Kept me full , really full. And the weight dropped off . Only problem is the price . But it’s worth it if it works it’s a lovely creamy texture and has subtle nit in your face tastes but still a good flavour. . So easy to just go to the fridge and get a bottle rather then go and buy something which will cost twice as much ! Try it , the taster set , it’s great .

It tastes good but It doesnt really gave me more energy as expected. And makes me more hungry after few hours.
