Please read. Top Notch 👌
Im sitting here actually laughing writing this review. I’ve been wrenching on cars for 28 years, and was a small engine mechanic before that. I remember when these guys came out, and I’m a brand name b*****d. As we all know, quality in a product nowadays is NOT what it was a decade or more ago especially from familiar names. This thing really is an engineering marvel. I know my stuff, do my research repetitively, and I’m humored that this company crammed a 149cc engine in this with a considerable punch, while making an a$$ out of the biggest brands in portable power. The unit I looked at was 3300 starting watts, no fuel shut off, no gauge for the fuel, 10 pounds heavier, only 2500 watts running and bigger. And significantly more expensive. 799 that is, plus not having a good rap for customer service. This one boasts considerably more power, a fuel gauge, lighter, longer run time, better build quality and I can keep going. It’s exciting to see. Do your research, this company really has something when it comes to build quality, ease of use, maintenance, and very clear instructions along with 24 hour customer support. Good luck finding anyone that offers that nowadays. In a world that quality and service is not what it used to be, I suggest you look very closely at this company, you won’t regret it.

Fired right up.
Fired up on the second pull. Tested with meter and all outlets worked. Did 5 hour break in. Powered my rig just fine. Was able to run 2 air conditioners with no problem. One has soft start the other does not. With some power management it also ran my electric fireplace and electric water heater. Did another 5 hours and changed the oil again. More power, less weight, and smaller size than my old 3200 that weighed in at 80lbs.If there were two things that would improve this: make it a little quieter under load and put counter on it so you know how many hours it has run.

Well worth the money
Well, I have gone through two R.V. generators. A Honda and an AllPower. Both lasted two seasons. So I'm trying Champion for first time. First it was securely packaged in shipping box. Two, really appreciated the half liter of oil and funnel. My funnels all end up in the sandbox with the grandkids. There was no fuss or muss. Added the oil, gas and first pull it started. Running like a champ so far.

Quality product reasonable price I recommend their products
I own 3 champion generators 3500 110v ,5500 220v, and my new 4000 inverter 110 RV portable. We took it campingLast week boondock camping , it ran the Air. Conditioner and did a good job.

Quiet workhorse
Quiet, doesn’t take up much space. Doesn’t weigh much which is nice for portability. Super easy to start. Built to last. Highly recommend, I haven’t had any issues with this as long as you take care of it for storage it’ll start every time. I run 4 cycle true fuel through it before storing.

Excellent quality small generator completely works as advertised.
So far so good. Starts on first pull runs smooth, steady power and pretty steady on the RPMs too.I used it for eight hours a few days ago when we had a planned power outage. I put it through its paces I plugged in four devices at once. But when I plug in a small ceramic heater that pretty much absorb all the amperage available. I do wish I had gotten a 6500 W version. But I bought this basically for emergencies and mostly just to keep my food and meats good in my refrigerator and upright freezer.I also found out in that eight hour period I did burn about 2 1/2 hours of gas, pretty much as advertised. It ran smooth the whole time it’s a very good quality little generator. Definitely worth the price of under $600 that I paid. I have to give it a 10 out of 10, I have no complaints except I wished I had gotten 6500 Watts. 🥹

Garbage generator model# 100809
DO NOT BUY THIS GENERATOR! IT IS FOREIGN GARBAGE, MADE OF FOREIGN GARBAGE, BY FOREIGN GARBAGE! We bought this champion generator just barely a month ago, and it worked great, till the pull start rope broke after less than a month of use. Amazon will not except it for a return, and champion only wants to send parts and videos of how to repair it yourself. The problem with that is they do not have any videos, or materials to tell you how to repair this model # 100809, instead they send you a video of a different model, which is completely different on the interior, with far more connections, and screws and bolts. You basically have to disassemble the entire generator just to replace the recoil assembly, all because the subpar China made crap broke for no apparent reason after less than a month of use. Do not buy this 4000 watt generator, model# 100809. It is garbage, and so is the company that built it.
