I'm a fresh graduate in my Diploma in Animation and I've finished reading the book. It has excellent printing quality and very neat design include nicely organized content. Every words written are inspiring and easy to understand, even so English is not my main language. What I love the most is personal story that include in the book, which make me feel like Elliott himself talking to me; less of a guide book but more into real tutoring and lifelong advices. The examples he gave is straightforward yet very informative and plentiful, it has all what you need to present yourself or applying for concept artist career AND how to succeed in job interview or negotiate salary. Though you won't get much insight on how to prepare Portfolio; as he told in the book; that would be his another book "TBBWOCAFVG, Insider's Guide for Students", but Eliott did include few images of how his portfolio looks like, his art test submission, business cards, resume example and mailers, etc. I bought this book mainly because I want to work in game industry, despite I was meant to work in 2D animation or TV show. I took the wrong specific course, so I don't know how game industry works, what exactly I need, how to get to them, what should I do when meeting them and I feel all this time my drawings is wrong or "not good enough like other concept artists". But this book answered everything I said before, helps me to gain my confidence, and how to avoid myself to getting lost again, find my purpose, feel good about my own artwork or ideas. My favourite sentence in the book is; "Remember that you want your personality to come through in your work: it is what will make it unique.", Chapter 2, Section; Creating Personal Artwork. Such a short sentence, but it gave me the wings, and that's not all there is in this book. I wish I did bought the first book too, if only the shipping is not expensive to get here, haha. This book is so good, I really enjoyed it and might as well read it again and again.Thank you, Eliott Lilly for making this amazing book.

Not what I expected
The book is printed and presented in good quality. However I was expecting to see actually concept art, instead this book focus on “how to get a job” in the video game industry.If you’re looking for video game art this is not the book.
