Better than a door bell.

Works great and batteries were included
Cute and well made frogs I ordered three and they arrived well packaged. Was very happy to see they have batteries included for each frog and that you can actually turn them off when not in use. I use two to scare away foxes during the night around my chicken coop and one outside my house so I know if anyone is malingering. They blend in very well to the grass outside couldnât be happier.

A little disappointing
I knocked Greta mark 2's predecessor off the porch shelf and she shattered into a thousand pieces. Deciding that I couldn't even resurrect the croaking mechanism, I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the cost engineers have been at work: this Greta has laryngitis - a harsher, less convincing croak - and no volume control. No wonder another owner has stuck something over the sound holes! On a positive note, she works perfectly well on the rechargeables from her predecessor, so the batteries supplied have gone into the reserve. Gerduck!

Charming little 'croaker' - very cheeky!
Cute, is quite sensitive to movement, and it either raises a chuckle from people, or they find it somewhat annoying (normally it's the former I am pleased to say). What more could you want?? It's is a bit louder than I expected, but I have covered the speaker area with some tape to lessen the volume a little, that seems to help in my porch.The Welcome Frog does three successive 'ribits' each time it's triggered by someone walking in front of it. I could not see any mention on my package as to whether it can be used ontdoors (i.e. waterproof). My hunch is that it is only for use indoors...

Doesn't work in the dark
Croaking frog arrived quickly and complete with batteries. Unfortunately I bought it to alert us if anyone came up our drive but unfortunately it only works in the daylight and doesn't croak in poor light or the dark so disappointed about that. :(
