I brought these with not a lot of high hopes. Turns out they are much better, strong steel with use on a deer tip did not break and stayed sharp. I made elk bone handles for them, and it looks amazing will upload photos of them at a later time.

The product is made of good quality materials needed in skinning knives. Once mounted onto good deer antler handles and personalized make great gifts my grandsons can use and pass onto their sons.

Looking at the image they have at the top makes one think that is what you will get, well, it is not anywhere near that long. They say that this knife is 6-1/2" (inches) long, it is not, it is ONLY 5-1/2" long... Now, if that was a one-time mistake, I could understand, but there are numerous complaints about the same problem. Either Amazon needs to straighten these sellers out, or they need to prohibit them from selling UNTIL they make the necessary adjustments. Aside from that, I like the knife, for what you pay, it's a really nice knife, I was only going to see what I could do with it, handle-wise, just for fun. I would have to return it or have a welder add some length to it. (What I will probably end up doing is adding TWO pieces of metal on each side to lengthen then drilling through all three and adding a couple of pins, then finish it off by using metal 2-part epoxy) I bought ANOTHER knife from them that is FULL TANG, so that one is fine, and I really like that one. I will NOT BUY ANOTHER KNIFE from them until they fix this, they are only making people distrust sellers when they do not make things right. So, if you do decide to chance it, expect the worst, or if you're a gambler and think these are good odds, good lock to you!

Nice blade, worked well for my project

I purchased this blank tang, and made a knife with it. Is very good steel, and the chrome is done very well too. Just wished the tang was a little longer
