The Rag Company’s Ultra Safe Sponge has quickly become one of my favorite wash tools. The build quality is excellent—the foam core is dense but lightweight, and the outer microfiber shell feels extremely soft and safe on paint. Paint Safety: This is where it shines. This is the tool for rinseless and really any car wash. Can throw away the towels for this brush.The crevices allow for dirt to be migrated away from the car surface. Been using this now with rinseless car washes and it has been great addition to my DIY detailing car. Easy to wash/rinse and repeat Cheaper alternative to some of the name brand items. Frequently on sale so would advise waiting for it to come on.

A soft sponge, nice size and shape for rinseless washing. I've only used once and there is some slight tearing in a couple of places, though I used it gently. So the four stars. We'll see how it lasts from here. Otherwise I'm glad to have tried it.

I have always been a traditional Foam Cannon - 2 bucket wash method kinda guy, but after trying the new rinseless wash method I am a changed man. You can ditch the pressure washer, foam cannon, and cleanup and save time and money with a rinseless wash. This sponge is the perfect wash device because microfiber towels might cause uneven pressure which might push dirt and cause micro swirls into your cars paint. Using the sponge you get an even amount of pressure on all sides of the sponge which makes this a very safe method of washing your car. It absorbs water like crazy, but what is crazier is how well it absorbs contaminants such as dirt, rocks, dust, and bird poop. The only downside of absorbing a lot of contaminants would be the constant washing of the sponge, but to me that is a good trade. The sponge will last for a long time if you take care of it well. After each wash just make sure to soak it and rinse all the dirt and grime inside and let it air dry for another use. You can drop a small amount of dawn dish soap in there if you feel like it got really dirty, but other than that get ready for fast car washes, quick cleanups, and lots of money saved on product and materials.

This sponge is amazing. I thought it was just another sponge to wash your car with. First time I used it I fell in love with it. Funky design cuts in the sponge made it look like it would not be durable but the cuts actually help remove debris from the surface. It holds an enormous amount of liquid. I use it with a rinseless car wash and it didn't scratch my finish. I paired it with their microfiber towel and the results are awesome.

I picked up this sponge to use on rinseless washes after reading some recommendations online. Works way better than the microfiber towel method, and also helps me to not put too much pressure when cleaning off my car. Very soft. There is some damage to the sponge already in the form of tears, but I think that might’ve been user error (I rubbed against the grit guard with a lot of force).

I've used this sponge for several months now and so far, so good. I use it mostly in conjunction with a rinseless wash solution. It seems to be durable enough for my needs. It does a good job with rinsing away grit and dirt trapped within the sponge. It's very easy to use once you get the sponge fully saturated. Just be careful with it around sharp edges.
