This worked great to test my tractor power take off shaft spin speed. It came with reflective tape to stick on what you want to measure. Easy to use.

Both the digital and analog work good. That's why I chose this tach.

For the money it’s perfect. It little awkward but once you play with it a little it works fine.

Seems like it ought to work fine, and other people seem to like it.. the mechanical part works fine, but the little red laser won't come on for the non-contact part.. it kind of feels like this unit failed QA/QC and I got unlucky. Sadly that means it's going right back..

Used it to set idle and govener on snow blower ( laser function). I have not triied the wheel function. Colored output shaft with black magic marker with a single white grease pencil mark. Havnt not bothered with reflective sticker.
