Camera Case for Nikon D850 - Silicone Protective DSLR Skin Cover, Detachable Cage, Shockproof, Dustproof (Black)

I accidentally ordered the wrong model, for a d750 rather than a d850. STSEETOP Customer Service was prompt, EXCELLENT and more than accommodating in setting me up with the correct model—it's unusual to see a company that dedicated to its customers these days.When the correct model arrived (extremely well packaged), it fit the d850 body perfectly. It improves grip and gives you good protection against accidental scratches and knocks. I use my d850 on boats, so the extra physical protection is definitely appreciated.Two aspects you need to be aware of if you purchase this which have NOTHING to do with the quality of this product:1) Once installed, an MDB18 grip will no longer attach because of the thickness of the silicon interferes. I am considering cutting some of the silicon away to allow the attachment - it would be a shame to mar the aesthetic of the case but hopefully I can do that relatively cleanly. Perhaps STSEETOP can consider creating a mould that could accommodate this common accessory in the future?2) The silica covers for the many and various buttons of the d850 are well located and even have writing embossed on them so you know which button is which. However, good luck on reading the writing in anything but the brightest conditions and decent eyesight—so, you need to know your d850 well and know exactly what each of the buttons do before you cover up their labels with this case. Specific to the black case (and perhaps other color options?), the case of course also renders useless the fact that these buttons can light up for night photographers, since the silica is opaque on the black model. I suppose you could cut each button out but again why would you want to impact the integrity of the case? Moral of the story? LEARN the location of those buttons like you would a QWERTY keyboard before you cover them up!

Looks great, perfect fit and protects the camera well

The only thing I didn’t like about it is I can’t use it with a battery grip.

It was fairly easy to put on my camera Nikon D850. I like to go to the beach so it helps keep sand out, plus doing dog pictures, they tend to be curious about the camera and can knock it out of my hands, but this case helps me keep a good hold on it and no damage when dogs get crazy playful. Wish I'd bought it sooner and avoided a few dog teeth marks on my camera. Worth the buy!

It doesn’t fit my camera body well at all! Installation was a bit hard, and like I said the placement for the buttons underneath the silicone was actually off a bit.

This is a high quality, well made product. The cover has a particularly nice feel that should work well in wet environments. Fit my Nikon D850 well. Just appreciate that the design (as with competitors) requires you to remove the camera strap to put the cover on. You then have to reconnect the strap. This is fine if you intend to keep the cover on for an extended period of time.

Works really well and is very easy to put on. Provides secure grip, with no looseness anywhere. It definitely gives me the feeling my camera now has better protection. Very good value for the money. Definitely recommend.The case shows where the buttons are in the back of the camera, but does not show you the writing for each button. So if you're not very familiar with the camera, make sure that you learn what each button does before you put on the case. However the buttons on the front of the camera all have cutouts, so they are not an issue.Also, if you are using the additional battery/vertical grip attached to the bottom of the camera, then this case will not work for you. For me the above are not really issues, but I thought I would share them in case anyone has questions.After buying this case for my D850, and seeing how well it worked, I bought another one for my D500. So I very much like this product.

Awesome shell for my D850. I feel like my camera is protected with this camera case on. The case is well-made and the buttons align perfectly with the buttons underneath. Only negatives are that it adds a tiny bit of bulk, and the dial on the top left-hand side is really hard to turn and get to the right setting. If this is something you use often, keep this in mind when evaluating whether this is the right purchase for you. Otherwise, this is a really great product!
