Love this Monorail Toy
I purchased this for my nephew who loves trains. I love the idea that he can learn a different type of system and build his own tracks. I will say the little monorail is quite loud and feels off balance; however, that’s part of his charm. It is a great STEM toy!

Not the best for your kids to solo.
There was a lot of what I would call higher difficulty assembly required. I made sure I was involved in the assembly. I liked the kit I just think it requires a good amount of skill to assemble.

Great STEM activity
Easy fun to build with kids ( 5 and 7). Delivered hours of fun with the different configurations of tracks. It’s a toy my kids take out often and not just set to the side. Instructions not only serve to build, but adds educational information.

Cute toy. Sort of like playing with a model train.
I thought it was easy to assemble but I have experience with other 3D puzzles, so it may be more difficult for beginners. It took a couple hours to assemble but I was going slow and taking my time. I like the many track variations and it stays on the track providing you remember to throw the right track switches 8-) The tracks are easy to take apart and put back together. All in all, I’ve enjoyed it.

Holy Batman, What a Headache!
I’m not sure Santa realized that the STEM part of this gift is a week-long parental assembly. I’d rather outfit my entire house in IKEA furniture than deal with these nubby pieces of plastic, microscopic screws, and wobbly robot. Just waiting for the whole thing to fall apart, while my curious and anxious 7 yr old puts together a 2,000 piece LEGO set. Bottom line - there are much better ways to spend your money and time.

Adorable set, but a bit difficult for an 8 yr old
My 8yr old loves to tinker with things and put things together. This was a bit of a mental stretch for both of us! We thought we could get it done in one day, but decided to put it on a project table and work on it over the course of almost 2 weeks. It was a bit of a project, lots to take apart, lots to organize before building, but the instructions in the 30+ page booklet were mostly clear. There were a few times we didn't read the little tidbits in the side-boxes and had to redo the parts. The screws were impossible for my 8yr old and those had to be done by me - and they weren't easy either. They went into tight places and you really had to make sure it was screwed in tight so it didn't throw off the gyroscopic balance. It really was quite a process. I am not sure I want to even attempt another one of these, but it was fun enough to put together as a team. Tools are NOT included and I recommend also filing down the pieces after removing them. And you'll need batteries (and lots of patience). While it was satisfying to see the end result, it's been stuck in a corner and not played with since.

Fun family project
It’s fun to build . I will advise to have parental patience because the kids will get annoyed with the instruction . The fish results are amazing and fun to watch the robot ride around on the tracks. Great value for price .
