Most other lower carb versions of pasta are simply too weird for me. Although this isn't super low carb, it is a high fiber, reduced carb, reduced calorie alternative to regular pasta that my husband will actually eat because it tastes like pasta and doesn't have a weird texture. The only thing different is that it takes a few extra minutes to cook compared to normal pasta. The price is higher than normal pasta, but given the health benefits I think it's worth it. I have purchased the elbows and the penne several times. I have not tried the spaghetti noodles or the lasagna sheets yet though, so I can't say if the texture on those are good or not.

What's to be said? It's a low carb pasta. I've tried a few and this one is the closest to taste and texture of normal pasta. It didn't have an odd flavor, and it didn't fall apart. It did seem like I needed to cook it just a bit more than usual though. But it's worth it though. I really couldn't tell I was eating low carb macaroni and cheese. Unless there's a better option out there, this is probably the closest you can get. To go lower carb and calorie, you're probably going to need to look at hearts of palm noodles. Also good, but you're very aware you're not eating pasta.

It’s a delicious substitute for high carb pasta. We love pasta, but hadn’t been eating it because of the number of carbs it has. The Fiber Gourmet Low Net Carb Pasta Elbow Macaroni allows us to enjoy pasta once again!

I absolutely love this pasta. Watching carbs and this was still a little more then I wanted for net carbs. But I just eat a little less. But it tastes just like the high carb pasta. My Husband who does not like anything diet or light, low carb etc. But he couldn't tell the difference and I love the fact he will eat it and it will be healthier for all of us. I checked the company website and it is $5.00 a box. Vs. $9.00 box like here. You do have to spend $50 for free shipping. But lots of choices. So glad we tried this.
