The best ice maker!
Works great! Can be a tad noisy if your home is quiet you will notice, but otherwise it’s perfect! Easy to remove water reservoir to refill. You do have to turn it around to drain it occasionally. Easy maintenance with bleach and vinegar to keep clean and scale free.

Buyer Beware!!
Unit worked great for the first 60ish days then out of nowhere the unit starting producing an extremely loud noise when making ice. It was so loud it would wake us up in the middle of the night. Of course I go through Amazon and missed the return window by 1 day. Reached out to the warranty people to get the unit replaced. WHICH IS NOT THROUGH FRIGIDAIRE - it is some other company that makes this and Frigidaire just has their name on it, can't even find it on Frigidaire's website. They opened a case number and told me to send the unit to them with the wording of "As printed in the warranty agreement, transportation costs will be the customers’ responsibility. However, in the event a refund or replacement unit will be sent to you, we will shoulder the shipping fee." Which implies that if they decide to replace the unit or refund the unit then they would refund the customer the shipping fee. Well apparently this is incorrect. They decided to send a new unit but won't refund my ~$110 shipping cost to send the unit to them. If I'd known they weren't going to cover that cost then I never would have bothered with this garbage of a ice maker and just thrown it away and gotten a cheaper, likely more superior ice maker. Do not buy from this company, you've been warned.

Works well!
This ice maker works great and is more efficient than the last one which died after a year. I hope it keeps on making ice for us.

Failed after 2 months, NOT made by Frigidaire, made by Curtis
Ice machine failed after 2 months of use. Stopped making ice for whatever odd reason. This unit is made my Curtis and NOT Frigidaire, it just has Frigidaire name on it to make it look better.Curtis handles the warranty and they are being very difficult. They say that under warranty the consumer has to pay for return shipping which is about $130 .... then if they say its not fixable, they only refund the shipping cost.So its 5.22.25 and im still arguing with them about this warranty issue.

Nugget Ice Now…whenever I want!
I researched several different nugget machines before making this purchase & I can say we are quite pleased with this one. Simple setup; minimal noise; easy distinction between ice mode, add water, and cleaning functions. It only takes a few minutes to start making the wonderfully delicious little nuggets and the bin is full within 15 minutes. If you’ve been looking for that Sonic Ice to makes your drinks taste better or you just like crunching on ice…this is it!

Great - almost.
Let me be clear up front: I really like this ice maker. It's quiet, fast, and makes fantastic ice nuggets. What I do not like is their warranty repair process. Our device is 4 months old and the LED that tells you when it's making ice somehow shorted out. Now we have to press the Ice button to start it when it's out of water or has been off and wait for about 3-5 minutes to hear if it starts working to see if it's making ice or not. I sent a message about the defect and was told I'd have to ship the whole thing in to see if they could repair it or would issue a refund. This thing isn't exactly simple to ship due to its size and the fact it would need completely cleaned and dried prior to packaging. Bottom line is do not purchase this unless you're okay with shipping at around the nation for repair when it breaks. Frigidaire should employ or out-source field techs to repair these on-site.

lasted 2 weeks
worked great for about 2 weeks and then started leaking water and making a horrendous noise that woke us up in the middle of the night.

Great til it wasn’t
This was great until it wasn’t. Have not had it a year and it’s making a very loud noise like it will scare you. They said it’s under warranty but I have to send it back. I have no idea how much that will cost me BUT just read another review where they did not get their refund back for the shipping which was $100+. Really doubt I want to spend another $100 just to ship to only have another unit sent to me and it be worthless in 9 months also. Might just take the loss now and buy another with those $100.
