Very easy to install printer
After a lot of research decided to go with Brother laser printer. Good deal on the ECO model, easy to get out of the box with the bag lifting system, just as easy to set up following a simple guide sheet. Software easy to locate and download and follow instructions. Print quality very good, small footprint and a choice of connections.

Very pleased with the printer the setup was easy unlike many of it’s rivals, print quality is excellent glad now i went for this make and model.

Complete rip off
Bought this printer and signed up to the free EcoPrint initial subscription. This wasn't canceled as it should have been and the company has (unbeknownst to me) been taking money from my account. There was no accountability from Brother and incredibly difficult to speak to anyone about this. They have (after repeated complaints) now cancelled the subscription but have deactivated the printer remotely so I am left with a useless plastic brick. The product is OK but I he organisation behind this is terrible. There are much better companies out there.

Replacement Toner Cartridge cost are ridiculous
The actual printer is good. I've had it for a couple of years but don't print very often. However the replacement toner cartridge cost for Brother originals is ridiculous. I've learnt the hard way with previous printers I've owned from various manufacturers that so called 'compatible' ink or toner supplies usually mess up your printer sooner or later, or the quality suffers. I'll be buying one of the high capacity ink type printers that are available these days and the DCP-L8410CDW will probably go back in its box unless brother reduce their eye watering expensive plastic cartridges full of powder to an acceptable level.
